Bad Politics or False Worship: Caterpillar Dreaming

What on earth could a caterpillar have to do with politics or worship or – wait for it- the Voice?

Dream

On the night of 24 March, I had a strange dream about a caterpillar-like creature that was light blue and see-through and maybe 2ft long and very light that would occasionally somersault and moved around a lot. I couldn’t see any legs. It was kind of floating just above the ground. I say caterpillar because it had a curvy body like waves up and down.

There was an old white woman on my right and somehow her head got attached (sewn on with needle and thread) to both ends of the caterpillar. I don’t know if she was decapitated as I didn’t see her after this happened but there was no blood and her head was shrunk to fit the size of the caterpillar. It seemed to move from left to right even though it had 2 heads.

There was a woman on the other side of the caterpillar whom I could not see but she said she owned it and called it a train, “That’s my train.”

I don’t usually remember dreams but this image is staying with me still many days later. My husband Norman woke me up at one point because I was making a noise. I said I’m OK I’m praying against something. I went straight back to sleep and don’t remember anything about it but I don’t think it was the same dream as the caterpillar. When I woke up in the morning, I remembered the caterpillar dream and all I was getting was that it was a hybrid – part insect part human – not good.

Norman came up with the words train wreck, miscarriage, and two-faced. Also, the caterpillar in the Bible that destroys crops, finances etc. And also, that caterpillars transform into butterflies.

I was surprised when I was researching a photo to go with my article about the Voice that I found one (and used it) about a train with Voice written on it that was coming around a corner very fast and about to run over Opposition Leader Peter Dutton who was on the rail track. Someone was calling to him to “train coming!” So, is this caterpillar symbolic of the Voice?

Caterpillar Dreaming

Well, as you might imagine, I was reluctant to share this with anyone. However, I did share it with one trusted intercessor and her husband and she said the two women in the dream could be witches. She asked me if there was anything in Aboriginal culture about caterpillars. I immediately said yes, there is a caterpillar dreaming in the Northern Territory.

So, I searched for it on the internet and found that the story is actually around Alice Springs. Interesting considering all the problems that have made headlines recently there re youth crime, alcohol abuse, and family violence. But there was much more. I came across an article about the caterpillar dreaming that said it was the story of three caterpillars and one of them was greenish blue. These caterpillars turn into the hawk moth.. It is a creation story where the caterpillars form the land around Alice Springs. They are decapitated and form the MacDonnell ranges.

The last sentence was very interesting because it quoted a renowned elder of the area, Wenten Rabuntja, whom I knew of when he chaired the Central Land Council, using the word train.

This seemed to be a lot of coincidences – a blue caterpillar, a decapitation and a train.

Yipirinya means caterpillar in Arrernte and the region was created by giant caterpillars. Their creation story begins at Anthwerrke (Emily Gap), just east of Alice Springs in the East McDonnell Ranges. They then travelled west towards Alice Springs creating the topographical features along the way. The story goes:

“But after leaving Ntyarlkarle Tyaneme, they came upon the ilperenye (green beetle men) at Ntaripe (Heavitree Gap). There a great battle took place, with the caterpillars defeated and many beheaded, their bodies now forming parts of the McDonnell Ranges, joined head to tail as travelling caterpillars are seen to do, their decapitations creating the spectacular gorges that cut through the ranges.”

The writers emphasise the inclusiveness of the story,

“Indeed, the Arrernte see this inclusiveness as intrinsic to the Caterpillar Dreaming. The story emphasises that the caterpillars converged on Alice Springs from all directions – north, south, east and west. Mparntwe (Alice Springs) is “everybody’s four corners” a meeting place – where people from all over (indigenous and non-indigenous alike) are “all mixed up together” – a place in which everyone can belong, a melting pot in which all work together in community. As one Arrernte elder expressed it so eloquently:

We got to be like the two train-lines. That train, he cannot run on just one line.” (Wenten Rubuntja)

Caterpillar transforms

If you have followed the journey of constitutional recognition, you will know that it has morphed (changed slowly) and then undergone a metamorphosis or transformed significantly over the years just as a caterpillar transforms radically into a butterfly or moth. However, this is seen especially since the meeting at Uluru where it changed from recognition in, and removal of racism from, the constitution to Voice Treaty Truth. It was a seismic shift that all state and territories are moving to implement, not just the federal government.

Blue Caterpillar makes its way into the media

The blue caterpillar or hornworm is also in the Alice in Wonderland story using a hookah to smoke tobacco. He tells her to eat the mushroom so she can magically change her size.

Norman said that he thought there was a usurping spirit behind the Voice. I said yes, I agree, and amazingly, the blue caterpillar in Alice in Wonderland is called Absolem (a similar name for the usurping spirit, Absalom.) https://tvovermind.com/caterpillar-alice-in-wonderland/

I researched the hawk moth and found there is a cartoon where the blue caterpillar uses the strong feelings of people to magically turn them into evil humans in exchange for helping them reach their goals.

Okay, these are all stories -a dreamtime story, a movie and a cartoon. But is there anything else here? Magic is still practiced in central Australia according to Aboriginal pastors.

Trains and songlines

Our church hosted a conference in Parliament House Canberra in 2004, the head of the nation and then in Uluru the heart of the nation in 2005. At a visit to the Institute of Aboriginal and Torrres Strait Islander Studies (AIATSIS) in Canberra around this time, I was told there is a songline from AIATSIS to Uluru and shown the spot as it was marked. At that time, I was not used to carrying a mobile phone and so I didn’t take a photo and I can’t find a photo now. However, there are prominent projects re songlines and one of them is about a train. There is an Aboriginal song about it as it traverses their country as songlines do. Their website says:

“The Nyamal train song is known as a Japi song, a public song that was composed by Pilbara stockman Mangkayipirti or Larry Brown. It tells of the sights and sounds of the train’s journey through Nyamal country.” https://aiatsis.gov.au/explore/singing-train

AIATSIS explains that, “Ancient songlines criss-cross the continent and link people, places, and practice. By singing the songlines, Elders evoke the ancient stories of Country.” https://aiatsis.gov.au/explore/marlaloo-songline

There is a big effort in Australia to reactivate the songlines which are worldwide:

“Songlines or Song line in Australia refers to the Earth’s subtle energy currents – known as ley lines in UK, snake lines in India, Dragon lines in China – also related to the Hartmann and Curries lines known well in Germany, geomancy and feng shui.” https://www.spiritsafaris.com/songlines/

Two heads or two-faced

Occasionally we have two heads in nature e.g. in snakes and turtles. It’s generally interpreted as a lack of responsibility and accountability because of undefined authority or boundaries and leads to confusion. I can see this in the Voice and I can see the two heads are the ALP represented by Prime Minister Albanese and the Referendum Working Group.

Interestingly, a “two-headed woman” is a traditional African American term used to describe women gifted with access to the spirit world as well as to the material world.

Wesley’s Revelation 9:19 Bible Commentary

Revelation 9:19 “The power of the horses was in their mouths and in their tails; for their tails were like snakes, having heads with which they inflict injury.” NIV)

This commentary says,

“Their riders fight retreating as well as advancing: so that their rear is as terrible as their front.

For their tails are like serpents, having heads — Not like the tails of serpents only. They may be fitly compared to the amphisbena, a kind of serpent, which has a short tail, not unlike a head from which it throws out its poison as if it had two heads.” https://www.godtube.com/bible/revelation/9-19

The amphisbena is an ant-eating serpent from Greek mythology which had two heads.

But what about two-faced? The Cambridge dictionary says, “Someone who is two-faced is not sincere, saying unpleasant things about you to other people while seeming to be pleasant when they are with you.”

If we apply the above to the Voice, there is the potential for deceit, characteristic of the serpent, the potential to be destructive and hurt, and the potential to be insincere and mislead.

Train wreck and miscarriage of justice

One news commentator has since called the proposed referendum on the Voice a train wreck. Is it justice for less than 4% of the population to override or hold to ransom over 96% of the population? As Prime Minister Albanese said, it would be a brave government that would reject the advice of the Voice. (The Australian 3.8.22)

False worship?

Obviously, I was not going to release this without much prayer about it. After all, I have been a supporter of Indigenous rights for 50 years, often at the coalface. But it is the Lord’s Voice that must hold pre-eminence over other voices. I need to be prepared to sacrifice friendships and my good name and my pet theories if that’s what the Lord calls for. So, the rubber hits the road.

As I prayed for confirmation that my dream was from the Lord rather than one that was not relevant, I felt the scripture of Leviticus 14:12 was highlighted to me.

“Then the priest is to take one of the male lambs and offer it as a guilt offering, along with the log of oil; he shall wave them before the LORD as a wave offering.”

I then got 2 Corinthians 5:18-20:

“All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.”

Reconciliation May Go Backward Rather Than Forward

Briefly, there have been huge strides towards reconciliation between First Nations and others in our nation. The Voice is liable to take us backwards rather than forwards as it is a divisive process.

Not only that, it has the potential to be very divisive for First Nations people with each other. When the National Native Title Act 1993 came in, many First Nations people saw it as a step forward but it has created huge divisions with Aboriginal groups fighting each other for many years over who has native title to various areas all around Australia.

Politics of Atonement

So, what do we have here? The place for making things right is primarily between us and God but we also need to make it right with those we’ve wronged. Matthew 5:23-24:

“Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you, leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift.”

For those who are trying to make things right with our First Nations or Indigenous people, this is a worthy endeavour. However, if we are not guided by God in how to do it, can we make mistakes? Yes, we can.

I prayed that if the Voice is a guilt offering to make things right and reconcile further with First Nations people, what are we offering or laying down or sacrificing and what is the altar on which we are offering it?

Is it equality of citizenship? Is it our desire to have a society free of racism and discrimination? Is it democracy? Is it our Judeo-Christian heritage? Are we opening the door of parliament and government for an Aboriginal earth religion? And is it the altar of woke or the altar of race?

Is the ancient serpent trying to further take over our government? Let’s face it, the serpent has already made plenty of inroads. Our constitution and government are based on Judeo-Christian values and these are increasingly being challenged.

What is power-sharing like in a democracy? The doctrine of the separation of powers divides the institutions of government into three branches: legislative, executive, and judicial: the legislature makes the laws; the executive puts the laws into operation; and the judiciary interprets the laws.

If someone or something really wanted to undermine our democracy, how would they do it? Why of course, add a fourth arm just as powerful as the three existing pillars – the Voice with the power to be consulted early by the legislature (parliament) and the executive (ministers and public service) on most matters.

If the Voice is not satisfied that it has been consulted properly or heard with effect, it can challenge the matter in the high court (the judiciary). It will have the constitutional right to do so if the referendum later this year is successful. This is not a modest proposal as Albanese says, but a radical one.

Is there a connection between Uluru and the Caterpillar Dreaming?

The recognition of First Nations people in the constitution has been a long process and I have covered it in my book Secrets and Lies (www.barbara-miller-books.com).

The Uluru Statement from the Heart which has led us to where we are today was made symbolically at Uluru, the heart of the nation on the 50^th anniversary of the 1967 referendum which enabled First Nations people to be counted in the census and for the federal government to legislate regarding them.

Did the location of Uluru make a difference? Why did I see a caterpillar if the caterpillar story has no connection to Uluru? What are the dreamtime stories around Uluru?

Norman and I and our Centre for International Reconciliation and Peace hosted a conference at Uluru in 2005 at which First Nations and other Christians came from all over Australia. We were welcomed by traditional owner Bob Randall who spoke at our conference and sang his famous song for us Brown Skin Baby.

Well, we certainly stirred up the witches. Firstly, we had a call from Pastor Noel Mann that there was a group in Brisbane who put a huge advertisement in The Courier Mail maintaining that they were hosting our conference and inviting people to attend a preliminary meeting in Brisbane. We quickly flew to Brisbane and confronted them at the meeting. We also watched the registrations coming in to make sure we didn’t register them.

While we were at Uluru, we had witches stalking the rooms of our worship team. We had hired the Tent of Promise tent and at the conference itself, we had uninvited women dancing like snakes during the worship who had to be removed. It was a full-on battle. After we prayed and took authority over opposing spirits at the base of Uluru, it all stopped so they were probably drawing their power from there. Fortunately, it was an amazingly successful conference and we haven’t had that type of direct confrontation again.

We went to the base of the rock Uluru and had an amazing time of worship and prayer with many Aboriginal elders and non-Indigenous prayer warriors. As we went to board our buses back to where we were staying, two people took photos of the rock and both reported that night that on their cameras were photos of the rainbow serpent and its eggs leaving the rock. They had not seen it in the natural.

The Lord had been at work! Unfortunately, because of its sacred nature, new agers, the occult, and the local Aboriginal people reinvoke the ancient spirits of the land. So, while amazing ground was taken in the spirit, it is not easy to maintain it.

I studied the local stories before we went to Uluru and spoke about them in a spiritual mapping session at our conference. The creation story of the Anangu people of Uluru is all about snakes.

“There lived two tribes of ancestral spirits. Invited to a grand dinner, they did not show up because they were distracted by the Sleepy Lizard Women. The hosts, in anger, sang evil into the mud sculpture, which thereupon came to life. Then began a massive battle, which resulted in deaths of leaders of both tribes. Due to the amount of bloodshed, and remorse felt by the Earth itself, it rose in grief, becoming Uluru.” https://oursonglines.com/blog/uluru-dreamtime

The rainbow serpent is seen as the main creator spirit in Aboriginal Australia, its creative stories belonging to many tribes. Wanampi is the Anangu Pitjantjatjara word meaning rainbow serpent and they are believed to be dangerous creatures guarding waterholes. Anne Axelby, Flinders University, says in Wanampi: Rainbow Serpent of the Desert that:

“It is said that Wanampi assumes the form of a rainbow when offended. In its rainbow state, the Wanampi is revered by Anangu, but the Wanampi can kill intruders by taking their spirit.”

Conclusion

There does not appear to be any significant relationship between the caterpillar dreaming and the dreamtime stories of Uluru. It is likely to be a coincidence that there are 3 caterpillars at Alice Springs and 3 snakes at Uluru – python, Liru the venomous snake, and Wanampi, the rainbow serpent. However, I think we need to keep in mind the role of the snake in Genesis and the role of the serpent in Revelation. We may think these are just stories but there are spiritual realities behind them.

The Lord has been putting on my heart the words enchantment and bewitched. The church and other faith leaders have come out publicly in support of the Voice:

“The Catholic, Uniting and Anglican churches, the Australian National Council of Imams and the Executive Council of Australian Jewry on Friday will join Australian Sikhs, Buddhists, Hindus and the National Council of Churches at Barangaroo in Sydney to endorse the Uluru Statement from the Heart.”
Catholic Archbishop of Melbourne Peter Comensoli told The Oz: “I am personally moved by the deep yearning expressed in the Statement from the Heart, and I am so encouraged that faith leaders have offered a response from the heart of their own spiritual traditions.”

I was led to the verse:

“You foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? Before your very eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed as crucified.” (Galations 3:1 NIV)

I think it’s important that I note that I respect Aboriginal culture and I think that other Australians should also. Nevertheless, we need to discern the difference between respecting it and making an idol of it.

I am reminded that many years ago, an Aboriginal priest from Yarrabah said to me, tapping his chest, “I’m a culture man but the church expects me to give up Aboriginal culture.”

This was a dilemma for him, feeling torn between the two. I said, “It doesn’t matter whether you are black or white, you need to give up those parts of your culture that don’t line up with the word of God and keep those parts that do.”

I gave some examples – loving money more than God, making an idol of sport, or of achieving fame or anything that we give higher allegiance to than God or would offend God. He gave a sigh of relief, saying that he didn’t realise that white people had to examine and give up parts of their culture too.

I do want to also call out syncretism within the church, a matter I will come back to.

THE GATES OF HELL & THE CULTURE WAR AGAINST THE CHURCH

The gates of hell which Jesus referred to in Matthew was a physical place. It was located in Caesarea Philippi in northern Israel. Yet many theologians agree it was a reference to a spiritual reality as well. The current culture war against the church shows the truth of this statement.

While in prayer, I saw a vision of the gates of hell opening and flies pouring forth from it – demonic entities. I also saw a vision of the mythical Pandora’s Box being opened and demons had flown out of it, unleashed for the end times. I was aware that illnesses were released from Pandora’s Box in the myth but after this vision, I found a website that said evil spirits were released. This seemed like a confirmation.

The Greek myth goes that Pandora was given a box of special gifts from the gods and told not to open it but because of her curiosity, she did. “She opened the box and all the illnesses and hardships that gods had hidden in the box started coming out. Pandora was scared, because she saw all the evil spirits coming out and tried to close the box as fast as possible, closing Hope inside.” 1

The Wuhan lab in China has been called Pandora’s Box by a number of commentators. It is believed by some scientists that a leak from that lab unleashed Covid 19 which killed 6 million people worldwide, caused havoc with our lives, and resulted in democracies becoming more authoritarian.

These visions came about in a recent time of prayer during WorldPride which Sydney was hosting and Purim, the feast of Esther in the Bible. The Lord impressed on me that the same spirit was behind climate change and LGBTIQ. It was Pan, the ancient god of nature and sexuality.

When I first started praying, I kept getting the word Baphomet. I pressed in further and the Lord reminded me of Pan. I wondered if there was some relationship between Baphomet and Pan seeing the Lord gave me both.

Later, doing some research I found that Pan was also known as the high-level Egyptian goat god called Mendes and can be found today in the form of the horned goat god of the Knights Templars and other occult groups like the Church of Satan – Baphomet. The Egyptian city of Khemmo (City of Pan or Panopolis) was dedicated to Pan. He was often depicted with an erect goat-like phallus. 2

Caesarea Philippi – the Gates of Hell or Hades

The Lord reminded me of our visit to Caesarea Philippi in 2017 when we led an international team of 50 people on tour of Israel. We saw the cave of Pan and the gates of hell. This cave got this name because of Baal worship there and also as it was believed that Baal (the ruler of the underworld) would enter and leave the underworld through places where water came out. A spring came out of the cave in the past before an earthquake.

Even today, a nearby stream feeds into the Jordan River. 3

Jesus took His disciples there to reveal who He was and to announce He was going to build a church. He asked them, “Who do you say that I am?” Peter had a revelation that Jesus was the long-awaited Messiah and Son of God and Jesus told Him that He had received that revelation from God, not from his own understanding.

He then said he would give Peter and the church the keys to heaven of binding and loosing, a powerful prayer strategy. Mt 16:15-19:

“But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?”

Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”

Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven. And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

Until I visited this site, I didn’t know that Jesus was talking about a physical place as well as a spiritual place. This was a cave into which sacrifices had been made to Pan and it was a place of pagan worship. It was the literal gates of hell.

But Jesus made a very important statement here that the gates of hell would not prevail against the church and we can use this as an assurance when things get difficult that we the church will be victorious and we are not to run from challenges but confront them with confidence.

So how did this place, which is today called Banias, because there isn’t a P in Arabic, get to be such a dark place and who was Pan? In Old Testament times, the NE of Israel became a centre for Baal worship.

In 926 BC, the Israelite king Jeroboam in the city of Dan nearby built a high place to the golden calf leading the Israelites to worship false gods. He also built an altar to the golden calf in Bethel. This was to prevent the 10 northern tribes going to Jerusalem to worship after Israel split into northern and southern kingdoms.

Later in the Hellenistic period, 323-31 BC, the worship of Baal was replaced with worship of Greek fertility gods like Pan. The Greeks named the city Panias in Pan’s honor.

It was the largest centre of pagan worship in the world and people came here from all over the world to worship Pan and get favour from this fertility god for their children, crops, business etc. They even sacrificed live babies by throwing them into the water of the cave.

To entice the return of their god, Pan each year, (as he returned to the cave during winter), the people of Panias engaged in human sacrifice, the sacrifice of goats, prostitution, and sexual acts between humans and goats. Their sacrifices were thrown into this abyss or chasm. 4

In 197 BC, Antiochus III overthrew the Egyptians at Panias. Following this, Antiochus IV persecuted the Jews leading to the Maccabean Revolt against the Greco-Syrians. The Greco- Syrians had even desecrated the temple in Jerusalem with an altar to Zeus. The cleansing of the temple and freedom to worship is now celebrated at Hanukkah.

Having earlier conquered Judea, the Romans declared Herod the Great “King of the Jews” around 40 BC. He received Panias from Caesar Augustus in 20 BC and constructed a temple there of white marble in honor of Caesar.

Eighteen years later, Herod’s son Philip inherited the site and named it Caesarea Philippi after himself, and to distinguish it from Caesarea Maritima on the seaside.

There were a number of temples which were in ruins when we visited – the Temple of Augustus over the mouth of the cave, the Court of Pan, the Temple of Zeus, and the Dancing Goats upper and lower temples.

Jews would not come here because it was a pagan Gentile area. However, Jesus chose to take His disciples here towards the end of his time on earth to reveal who He was, the Messiah, the Son of God. He was virtually commissioning Peter and His disciples to the huge calling of building the church in the very places that were most morally corrupt and diabolically opposed to Jesus’ work.

It is interesting also that Jesus chose the backdrop of this city which sits at the foot of Mount Hermon and is adjacent to a large cliff called the ‘Rock of the Gods’ because of the many shrines built against it or into it. He declared that Peter was the rock and upon that rock He would build His church. Jesus is also our rock.

There would be more than one interpretation of this but Jesus is saying that it is on the revelation that He is the Son of God, the Messiah, that His church would be built and it would withstand any challenge.

Jesus didn’t want His followers to avoid or hide from these hellish places and values. He wanted them to break down the defences of the gates of hell. In those days, gates were defences as well as entry points. There are places that are physical and spiritual portals and bastions of certain ungodly viewpoints. I wondered if there has been recent occult calling forth of the old gods at this place.

Jesus or Yeshua told His disciples not to be ashamed of the gospel or fear offending others. This challenge is also for us today in this age of political correctness. You can find out more about this place in this short video. 5

Could this ancient spirit attack us today?

The Lord had shown me this spirit coming against Scott Morrison, then Prime Minister, when we were preparing for our Australia Day prayer in Canberra in January 2020. It is an earth spirit and sexual spirit which plays pan pipes, is shrill and intimidating, causing fear and panic.

There has been catastrophizing over Covid 19 and currently re climate change. This spirit intimidates those who disagree with it. For more on the Covid 19 pan(demic) see my article. 6

This is an excerpt from my report on the Australia Day Prayer conference we hosted in Canberra:

“That night (25.1.2020), I shared an earlier vision I had of PM Scott Morrison in a game of cricket against the ALP and Greens and they were not happy he won (federal elections) and pulled back on climate change and their opposition to religious freedom.
However, with bushfires and drought, their confidence came back and they were attacking him on climate change, even hitting him with a cricket bat and bowling underarm.
As I shared my message, I had a cricket bat and ball with me and decreed that Scott Morrison would not be hit with the bat of climate change or receive an underarm bowl.
As I saw a demon vomiting green matter during that vision, I prayed re the spirit behind this climate change attack on the PM and the Lord showed me Pan, a nature god, half man half goat, a form of Satan.
The Lord reminded me that Norman and I took a Christian tour group of 50 from many nations to pray at Pan’s grotto and Pan’s temples as part of a tour of Israel in 2017. Pan was known to cause panic which is where that word came from. He was lecherous and his stentorious voice could cause fear and death. This is why we have a panic re climate change.
In Mt 16:17-19, Jesus says that the gates of hell would not prevail against the church … Later after the fall of Jerusalem in AD 70, the Romans, who also worshipped Pan, took captured Jews there and cruelly killed them in games.
This is not to say that climate change is not an issue and we need good policies to deal with it but the panic mode button has been pressed and it is used for political manipulation. I made decrees regarding climate change and Pan.” 7

In preparation for our Canberra event, I looked up Scott Morrison and cricket on the internet and found that in November 2019, there had indeed been some verbal bashing of Scott Morrison over a tweet re cricket and climate change

“Scott Morrison has weathered backlash over a tweet saying the Australian cricket team will give fire-impacted communities and firefighters ‘something to cheer about’.
… He sent the tweet out with a photo of him at a training session on Wednesday at the Gabba in Brisbane ahead of their Test match against Pakistan.”8

On 20 November 2019, Troy Simpson e.g., tweeted, “The link to bushfires you’re looking for is climate change, not cricket.” This seemed to be a confirmation of my vision.

Strategies and Visions

I asked the Lord for His strategy to deal with Pan and I believe He said:

(1) to declare and decree what Jesus said about the gates of hell not prevailing against the church Mat 16. More information on how to make decrees can be found in my book Decrees and Dangerous Prayers: 7 Steps on How to Change Your Nation or Community. 9

I also asked the Lord if we can ask the angels to put the demons back in Pandora’s Box and close it. Is there a set time for them to be released before the Lord deals with them?

(2) In response, I had vision of a seal (like wax) being put around the Wuhan lab so no more demons could be released from there. I can still see it. It was like the whole of the front of the building was covered in thick pale yellowish wax. I think this was done by angels.

Later, my husband Norman looked for scriptures re wax and seals in the Bible and found Rev 5:1 where wax is used to seal the seven seals on the scroll.

Rev 5:1 And I saw in the right hand of him who was seated on the high seat, a book with writing inside it and on the back, shut with seven stamps of wax. (BBE or Bible in Basic English) 10

And I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a scroll written inside and on the back, sealed with seven seals. (NKJV)

I asked if a lid could be put over the cave entrance at Caesarea Philippi and then I saw angels put a lid on the gateway to hell there.

I had a fleeting vision of angels with a basket and it reminded me of the angels with a basket in Zech 5:5. I looked it up later and there was a woman called wickedness in the basket and the angels pushed her back in and put a heavy lid on it. They then took the basket with her in it to Babylon. I think this is a confirmation for me of the angels putting a lid on the gateway to hell at Caesarea Philippi.

I asked the Lord again if this was the strategy to deal with this Pan spirit? That is, pray for the angels to seal the Wuhan lab and put a lid over the gateway to hell at Caesarea Philippi? I wasn’t sure if the angels had done this while I prayed or if we still needed to pray they would do it.

I was concerned that if the Lord had caused or allowed the release in these two places, should we be praying for a seal or lid to prevent more being released and can we pray for what was released to be forced back to where it came from before these places were stopped up?

(4) I sensed the Lord gave me the prayer of Abraham to save Sodom and Gomorrah (if 50 or even 10 righteous could be found there) from the destruction the Lord planned for their evil. In other words, yes you can intercede even though the Lord has planned destruction. Of course, we need to be guided by Him how to pray as we don’t want to pray against God’s will.
(5) Conference called Culture Wars and the Church

I sensed from the Lord another strategy to have a conference called Culture Wars and the Church and to invite speakers from ministries with similar visions and concerns.

Just as an interesting aside, the popular children’s story about Peter Pan, a mischievous boy who could fly and didn’t want to grow up has similarities to the god Pan and amazingly has Peter as his Christian name.

So, what is the culture war against the church all about?

As a working definition, I would say that culture wars are opposing worldviews and values which are competing for our hearts and minds, clashing in the process. The teachings of Jesus are being increasingly challenged.

Where Christianity has been an important foundation for our way of life as a nation in Australia and much of the western world, there have been challenges from secularism, humanism, atheism, and pantheism etc. so serious as to erode the respect Christianity and Christians once had.

Pantheism is defined as, “the doctrine that the universe conceived of as a whole is God and, conversely, that there is no God but the combined substance, forces, and laws that are manifested in the existing universe.” 11

Immigration has brought with it multiculturalism and multifaith. Sexual abuse and other sins by clergy have eroded people’s faith in the church.

Cultural Marxism is a version of Marxism that no longer just promotes class war but also race war, sex war, and gender war. The long march of cultural Marxism through the institutions of Australian society is so advanced that it occupies these institutions.

One example is of white boys being shamed in class for being white male “privileged.” It is a very divisive identity politics that has come up with the concept of intersectionality.

The dictionary defines intersectionality as, “the complex, cumulative way in which the effects of multiple forms of discrimination (such as racism, sexism, and classism) combine, overlap, or intersect especially in the experiences of marginalized individuals or groups. 12

In other words, if you are a black female working-class lesbian or trans person, you are in the most oppressed category. This disregards human agency and other life circumstances. It also flies in the face of our identity in Christ and tears apart our cohesion as a society, bringing division.

Vision of Our Society Being Ripped Apart

I had a vision in another prayer time of a piece of paper being ripped in half and I sensed this is a picture of how our society is being ripped apart by identity politics. I will end with one of my favourite verses in the Bible:

“There is neither Jew nor Greek (race, ethnicity), there is neither bond nor free (class), there is neither male nor female (gender): for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” (Gal 3:28)

Left – Margot from the Isaiah 19 Highway says – What a delight to give honor where honor is rightly due. I personally have a lot to thank you for and Australia has a lot to thank you for. You are forerunners in the most crucial message of all and a blessing to Israel. When it wasn’t popular and still so misunderstood, you championed Israel and spoke up for her with your words and with your lives.

I first met you in Israel in 2003 at the Tom Hess convocation, representing Australia. How apt that it was you who God chose for that honorable task. How apt that Norman as an Indigenous Australian carried God’s heart for Israel and led the way for Australia to embrace the Jewish people, and teach us to honor them, their beautiful Jewish Messiah Yeshua and the land that He gave to them. How apt that it was at this convocation where I first met you.

How apt that this was my very first month of the next five years of living in the City of our God, and the launching of my journey into the Isaiah 19 highway nations that continues to this day. I loved you right away. I loved your hearts right away. I loved your message and everything you carried right away. Thank you for batting for Israel and never giving up. Thank you for the blessing that has been and you have been to Australia and to Israel.

The next time I had the privilege of spending extended time with you was the rare occasion that I came back to Australia in 2015. You invited me to attend a conference and speak there. Again, I saw how special you were. We were on the same page right away again, with hearts, minds, faith and prayers connected as one. The message God gave me for us was so special to me. It was a new message. It was something that grew in me like something that was birthed in me.

I’ve never had such a message that impacted me so deeply. I was blessed more than anyone at that conference. I’m very sure of that. It was a message that God gave me in dreams and by revelation and it has never left me since. In fact, it has grown, as does anything that God gives by His Spirit. This tells me a lot about the hunger you and your congregation carry and the things that you birth. It tells me, how you release the fullness of people’s ministries and what God has given them. Your ministry shouts forerunners.

Your ministry births deep things that become pillars in the end time heralders. Thank you for every time you ask me to join you. I absolutely love sharing with you and hearing from you, because each time it comes with anticipation of what deep and revelatory things God is going to birth.

Your humility and love for the Lord points to Yeshua and to all that is on His heart. It draws the Bride into the depths of His heart and past the superficial things. Past even the good things to the deepest things on His heart. Thank you for carrying the cross with Him. Thank you for being by His side in the things that are so dear to His heart, in the things that make Him weep and the things that bring Him joy.

Thank you for carrying His heart so beautifully. I want to finish by leaving a verse that makes me want to put it like a banner over you. “Works that will NOT burn in the fire”. ICorinthians3:14. “Well done good and faithful, faithful servants”. Matthew 25:21. Thank you, dear Norman and Barbara.

Brian brings this humourous story of when our ministry hosted a group of intercessors who were on a reconciliation tour of Australia. They were to speak at our Reconciliation conference in 1998. Brian says – It is a joy to pass on our congratulations to Norman and Barbara on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the House of David. Over the years Norman and Barbara have laboured faithfully in many areas of Christian service and have made an enormous contribution to the lives of many they have impacted over that time.

Our paths have crossed many times over those 25 years, both here in Australia and overseas as well. The story that stands out for me (Brian) the most from many I could tell was when the British Intercessory team led by Brian Mills and Roger Mitchell came to Australia as part of what became known as British/Australian Reconciliation.

The British Team along with myself visited Cairns and were hosted by Norman and Barbara. Accommodation was found for them at a venue run by some Catholic Nuns. One night the Nuns went out and left the British Team to themselves with instructions that their dinners were stored in the refrigerator in plastic containers. All went well until the British went to the freezer section of the refrigerator rather than the refrigerator itself. Sure enough, there were plastic containers full of food. So they promptly emptied the containers onto a plate and put them in the microwave.

They did not complain about the food but noted to us later that it was a little tougher than expected. They finished their meal and settled in for the evening without further incident. When the nuns returned home they went to the fridge and noted the food still there unused. They then opened the freezer and discovered that all the food in the containers had gone at which point panic set in.

They called out to me to come and gingerly asked whether the British had in fact eaten the food in the freezer rather than the fridge to which I replied in the affirmative. At this point, their faces turned to horror as they told me they had in fact eaten the food set apart for their dogs and not the British. The food in the fridge was in fact the food they should have eaten. From memory the dog food they ate was in fact kangaroo meat – hence the relative toughness of it.

When we get together with the British from time to time we still laugh about this incident which fortunately did not set off another international incident.

(We do too Brian. We remember when Brian Mills shared this at our conference saying “Ruff ruff !! and we all had a big laugh. The kangaroo meat had 3 vegetables with it as the Nuns fed their dogs well.)
