6pm – 20 March, 2019Purim is the Feast of Esther. It is not one of the biblical feasts commanded in Lev 23. It is one of the feasts instituted in Esther 9:20-22 by Mordecai after Queen Esther exposed the scheme of Haman to exterminate all the Jews in the kingdom of Xerxes, virtually the known world. Esther risked her own life to do this. There are lessons for us today in this story. |

4pm – 20 April, 2019Passover or Pesach (Lev 23:4-8) sometimes coincides with Easter which is not surprising considering that this feast commemorates Jesus or Yeshua as the Passover Lamb who was sacrificed on the cross for the sins of the world. The exodus from Egypt was a prophetic picture of this. John Hagee says if we don’t understand the prophetic significance of the Feasts of the Lord, it’s like breaking the hands off our clock. How will we be able to tell the appointed time of the Lord to meet with His people? |

4pm – 8 June, 2019Pentecost or Shavuot or Feast of Weeks (Lev 23:15-22) is 50 days from Passover hence the word Pentecost which means 50. It is a time of offering to the Lord for His provision and a celebration of when the law or Torah was given to Moses.
As they gathered in the Upper Room at Jesus’ instruction to wait and pray, it was this feast time that the fire of the Holy Spirit and power came on the disciples. (Acts 2: 1-12)
