Reconciliation Newz Buzz Nov 2021 no 2

Left – Ps Barbara & Norman Miller with Ps Howard & Randi Bass, Be’er Sheva Israel on the eve of the centenary of the Light horse charge of Oct 31 1917. Ps Howard’s message – We praise God with you for His faithfulness towards you and the Centre for International Reconciliation & Peace over these 25 years, and we trust that as you follow the Good Shepherd’s lead, He will find you faithfully doing what He has put into your hands until He returns.  Through the blood of Yeshua’s/Jesus’ cross, we are united in God’s reconciliation and peace.

Right – Ps George Fattal, Sydney speaking at one of our conferences in Parliament House Canberra. Ps George’s message – Congratulations beautiful people of God, the Lord has been faithful as this is His ministry, may the Lord continue to enrich your lives and ministry for His Glory, and yes for sure it will be an honour to join and celebrate with you this amazing milestone. (Ps George was able to join us on our 25th birthday zoom celebration and bless us more.)

Left – Ps Jenny Hagger, Founder, Australian House of Prayer for All Nations, Adelaide. Ps Jenny says – We are honoured at Australian House of Prayer for All Nations to have the opportunity of sending you our warmest congratulations on the 25th birthday celebration of the Tabernacle of David in Cairns. As a prophetic church fellowship and related ministries, you have been inspiring in the significant pioneering roles you have played in our nation and beyond.

Your heart for healing and reconciliation is expressed in Barbara’s well-researched books, through Norman’s art and teaching and all the conferences and seminars you have held in key locations, including Parliament House in Canberra. You carry the heart of the Father for Israel, expressed in your years of intercession and standing on the land. We join you in giving thanks to the Lord for 25 wonderful years serving Him.

Right – Sue and Roy Rowe, intercessory leaders in New Zealand. Sue says– Congratulations, from New Zealand, on your anniversary, celebrating the culmination of years of much planning, travel, strategic warfare, and strategic relationships new and old, especially to and with Israel.

It was a pleasure to be part of one of the teams you led to Israel, and the partnership with Howard and Randi Bass once we got there. Your fountain of knowledge of Israel came to the fore during the bus trips, as you explained the significance of each place we visited, and provided the historical context.

Prophetic words and visions from Ps Shirley Miller, Judy Miller, Colleen Burfitt and Ps Norman Miller after breakthrough worship 20.11.21

Biblical Basis of my Journey That Led to My Latest Book Secrets and Lies by Barbara Miller. This is worth checking out as it discusses briefly but insightfuly Critical Race Theory and Black Lives Matter and much more.

Left – Margot from the Isaiah 19 Highway says – What a delight to give honor where honor is rightly due.  I personally have a lot to thank you for and Australia has a lot to thank you for.  You are forerunners in the most crucial message of all and a blessing to Israel. When it wasn’t popular and still so misunderstood, you championed Israel and spoke up for her with your words and with your lives.

I first met you in Israel in 2003 at the Tom Hess convocation, representing Australia.  How apt that it was you who God chose for that honorable task.  How apt that Norman as an Indigenous Australian carried God’s heart for Israel and led the way for Australia to embrace the Jewish people, and teach us to honor them, their beautiful Jewish Messiah Yeshua and the land that He gave to them.  How apt that it was at this convocation where I first met you.

How apt that this was my very first month of the next five years of living in the City of our God, and the launching of my journey into the Isaiah 19 highway nations that continues to this day.  I loved you right away.  I loved your hearts right away. I loved your message and everything you carried right away. Thank you for batting for Israel and never giving up.  Thank you for the blessing that has been and you have been to Australia and to Israel.

The next time I had the privilege of spending extended time with you was the rare occasion that I came back to Australia in 2015.  You invited me to attend a conference and speak there.  Again, I saw how special you were. We were on the same page right away again, with hearts, minds, faith and prayers connected as one.  The message God gave me for us was so special to me.  It was a new message.  It was something that grew in me like something that was birthed in me.

I’ve never had such a message that impacted me so deeply.  I was blessed more than anyone at that conference. I’m very sure of that.  It was a message that God gave me in dreams and by revelation and it has never left me since. In fact, it has grown, as does anything that God gives by His Spirit.  This tells me a lot about the hunger you and your congregation carry and the things that you birth.  It tells me, how you release the fullness of people’s ministries and what God has given them. Your ministry shouts forerunners.

Your ministry births deep things that become pillars in the end time heralders.  Thank you for every time you ask me to join you. I absolutely love sharing with you and hearing from you, because each time it comes with anticipation of what deep and revelatory things God is going to birth.

Your humility and love for the Lord points to Yeshua and to all that is on His heart.  It draws the Bride into the depths of His heart and past the superficial things. Past even the good things to the deepest things on His heart.  Thank you for carrying the cross with Him.  Thank you for being by His side in the things that are so dear to His heart, in the things that make Him weep and the things that bring Him joy.

Thank you for carrying His heart so beautifully.  I want to finish by leaving a verse that makes me want to put it like a banner over you.  “Works that will NOT burn in the fire”.  ICorinthians3:14. “Well done good and faithful, faithful servants”.  Matthew 25:21. Thank you, dear Norman and Barbara.

Right – Brian and Robyn, co-founders of the Australian Prayer Network.

Brian brings this humourous story of when our ministry hosted a group of intercessors who were on a reconciliation tour of Australia. They were to speak at our Reconciliation conference in 1998. Brian says – It is a joy to pass on our congratulations to Norman and Barbara on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the House of David. Over the years Norman and Barbara have laboured faithfully in many areas of Christian service and have made an enormous contribution to the lives of many they have impacted over that time.

Our paths have crossed many times over those 25 years, both here in Australia and overseas as well. The story that stands out for me (Brian) the most from many I could tell was when the British Intercessory team led by Brian Mills and Roger Mitchell came to Australia as part of what became known as British/Australian Reconciliation.

The British Team along with myself visited Cairns and were hosted by Norman and Barbara. Accommodation was found for them at a venue run by some Catholic Nuns. One night the Nuns went out and left the British Team to themselves with instructions that their dinners were stored in the refrigerator in plastic containers. All went well until the British went to the freezer section of the refrigerator rather than the refrigerator itself. Sure enough, there were plastic containers full of food. So they promptly emptied the containers onto a plate and put them in the microwave.

They did not complain about the food but noted to us later that it was a little tougher than expected. They finished their meal and settled in for the evening without further incident. When the nuns returned home they went to the fridge and noted the food still there unused. They then opened the freezer and discovered that all the food in the containers had gone at which point panic set in.

They called out to me to come and gingerly asked whether the British had in fact eaten the food in the freezer rather than the fridge to which I replied in the affirmative. At this point, their faces turned to horror as they told me they had in fact eaten the food set apart for their dogs and not the British. The food in the fridge was in fact the food they should have eaten. From memory the dog food they ate was in fact kangaroo meat – hence the relative toughness of it.

When we get together with the British from time to time we still laugh about this incident which fortunately did not set off another international incident.

(We do too Brian. We remember when Brian Mills shared this at our conference saying “Ruff ruff !! and we all had a big laugh. The kangaroo meat had 3 vegetables with it as the Nuns fed their dogs well.)

MESSAGE FROM ARCHBISHOP DOMINIQUAE BIERMAN, ISRAEL FOR 25TH BIRTHDAY

25 years ago, you embarked on a journey that would cause you to touch many people and nations and especially your beloved Australia. I have experienced firsthand the integrity and power of your prophetic ministry of intercession. My visit from Israel to minister to you in the 90s is imprinted on my mind as well as your immediate response to Truth by shifting from pagan feasts to Biblical feasts. I believe that this response defined your ministry moving forward in instant obedience and child-like faith.

I had the privilege in ministering in another of your prophetic conferences in Cairns marked by the same response of integrity to Truth as many chose to be Mikved(baptized) into the name of Yeshua. You definitely contested and provoked the powers and principalities of Amalek and antisemitism when I was preaching when I was preaching at your conference in the Opera House in Sydney. At the same time that you were all prophetically wrapping me up in the Australian and Israeli flags, many were violently protesting against Israel outside.

Thank you for being courageous, standing for truth, and being child-like in your faith and obedience. My prayer is that now you are 25, you will never lose that freshness and anointing as you keep going forward in this End Time battle. Dark times demand bright shining lights as you certainly are. I bless you today with a promise given to Israel,

Arise shine for your light has come! The glory of Adonai has risen upon you. For behold darkness covers the earth, and deep darkness the people. But Adonai will rise upon you, and His glory will appear over you. Nations will come to your light, kings to the brilliance of your rising. Isaiah 60:1-3 TLV

We have had some awesome video greetings and tributes come in from around the world and will prepare a PowerPoint with messages. We are blessed to have many joining us from Israel, the Middle East, Africa, Singapore, Malaysia, PNG, NZ and Australia on the zoom meeting. The time zone doesn’t suit for UK and USA but we’ve included a message here from Ps Larry and Anne Hamilton USA as they were the first ones to send one in and we appreciate their time with us greatly.

This October, we celebrate 25 years since we planted the Pentecostal Church of Reconciliation in Cairns in which became the Tabernacle of David local congregation and the Centre for International Reconciliation and Peace para-church ministry, the latter being launched in 1998.

We are celebrating with a service today at our usual time of 4pm and then by a zoom meeting at 7pm Sydney time on 1 Nov so our friends from around Australia and overseas can join us to celebrate. Email us for the zoom link – cfirp@bigpond.com.

We would like those who have journeyed with us over the years to attend the zoom if you can. MESSAGE FROM PS LARRY AND ANNE HAMILTON USA FOR 25TH

In 2006 Larry and I were in Cairns between mission trips to PNG and Papua.  Walking downtown, we visited an aboriginal art gallery (Munganbana) to enjoy the paintings.  The proprietor (Norman) came up and asked us where we were from:  America.  His next statement was, “Do you know this year is the centennial of the Azuza Street Revival the Holy Spirit brought to Los Angeles a hundred years ago?”  We were flabbergasted that he would know that, and assume we wanted to know!  He went on to explain that they were hosting an international conference to commemorate that and the 400thanniversary of de Quiros claiming the Great South Land of the Holy Spirit over Vanuatu.  Then Norman invited us to church at Tabernacle of David.

From then on, TOD was our church and Norman and Barbara were our pastors.  Being a small congregation, everyone including us went to work on the Bethany Gate/All Pacific Prayer Assembly.  Your website says 2,000 attended.  (Norman revised this to 3,000 because of the huge number of people who came for the free nights over 10 days, not always the same people.) Wow!  I remember it was held at the sports arena.  After setting up, Larry volunteered to stay all night and sleep there to guard the sound equipment.

The conference and the attendees made such an impact on us that the next year we flew into Port Moresby from Alotau, PNG, to attend APPA.  Prophetess Barbara spoke on making declarations and using the King’s signet ring.  Prime Minister Somare publicly signed a covenant pledging PNG to worship no other God but Yahweh.

We were used to celebrating Passover in our congregation in USA, but we were just growing in understanding our Hebrew roots beyond the basic commandments.  Your connection to Israel and end-time prophecy really helped bring things together for us.  By the time we made the long sail back to USA in 2011, I was writing Bible lessons on the subject!

TOD worship was another new thing to us, and we so appreciate all the Millers for bringing us together spiritually and presenting us to God with your musical gifts.  Back in America we found a small movement had started, and almost immediately connected with another congregation with harp and bowl worship that follows the Feasts.

Thanks for the newsletters and books.  We miss the friends we made through the church.  Next time we get together we won’t need a boat and an airplane to get there!  Maranatha!

Here are the people who came to send us off on our last voyage from Cairns.L to R Larry Hamilton, Sarah Kenny Pascoe, Anne Hamilton, Norman Miller and Wallace Pau

Mothers Day 2021 at Tabernacle of David Cairns

28 Her children arise and call her blessed;
her husband also, and he praises her:
29 “Many women do noble things,
    but you surpass them all.”
30 Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;
but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.
31 Honor her for all that her hands have done,
and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.

Proverbs 31:28-31

The situation in Israel is critical with over 2,000 missiles fired into Israel from Gaza and we’ve been praying earnestly and keeping in touch with our Jewish friends in Israel. This message was given by Barbara at our congregation 15 May. While Hamas in Gaza have been the most militant, Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas has recently stated they will be a “thorn” in the side for Israel, an eerie reminder of Nu 33:55.

We congratulate Israel on the 73rd anniversary of David Ben-Gurion’s declaration of the state of Israel on 14 May 1948. It was also Jerusalem Day this week. As I write this newsletter, it is Erev Shavuot which celebrates the birth of the nation of Israel with the giving of the law to Moses on Mt Sinai. It is also the birth of the church at the feast of Shavout which is called Pentecost as in
Acts 2.

VISION BY BARBARA 6.5.21 AT GAP PRAYER MEETING
GATHERING APOSTOLIC PROPHETIC NETWORK Ezek 22:30

Our GAP Network has been earnestly praying for our nation and its government now into our third year as a network led by Norman and Barbara where we shadow the federal government ministers and their portfolios. We also pray for state governments as needed.

VISION

On Thursday 6 May, I had a vision while in prayer for our GAP meeting and I shared it with them on zoom that night. I saw Australia as a fortress with the drawbridge up. I knew it related to Australia’s policy of closed borders with only a few allowed in and out and the 2-week pause relating to Australians returning from India during a pandemic out of control. Thousands of Australians have been stranded overseas in a number of countries, many for a year or so. There are many distressing stories. I prayed that our quarantine facilities would be improved so more Australians could come home and that the vaccine rollout would be handled better and be rolled out more quickly and safely. We regularly pray for other nations re recovery from covid-19 and comfort for those who’ve lost loved ones.

To my surprise, Saturday’s newspapers used my words “Fortress Australia” and then later we had the cartoon above. In Tuesday’s budget on 11 May, the federal government said it did not expect Australia’s borders to open until mid-2022. This was a big shock to many Australians who had expected that with the vaccine rollout, we might see the borders open later this year. This is important not just for families to be reunited but for business, tourism and overseas students.

Our Christian Prime Minister Scott Morrison, Jewish treasurer Josh Frydenburg and the government have done an outstanding job in keeping Australia safe from the coronavirus and keeping the economy afloat. We praise God for His blessing on our nation and that we have been able to help other nations as well.

Left – HANDS UP FOR RELIGIOUS FREEDOM.

Art by Ps Norman Miller which he uses to campaign with for religious freedom – freedom of belief, freedom of conscience, freedom of religion, freedom of speech and parental rights re education of their children in a woke school system.

Right – HANDS UP AGAINST EUTHANASIA.

Art by Ps Norman which he uses to campaign against voluntary assisted dying legislation. Victoria and Western Australia have already passed it and it is presently before the Queensland Parliament. Munganbana is Norman’s Aboriginal name. He started the Voice of First Nations Peoples Against Euthanasia recently and has put out a flyer out about it which has been sent to Queensland Members of Parliament. An summary of it is:

Pro Euthanasia legislation is disrespectful to the customs of First Nations Peoples around death which is a community matter not just an individual decision- black lives do indeed matter.

Rushing to introduce euthanasia when rising suicide rates are a national problem is inexplicable and against the public interest, especially for First Nations Peoples. Nobody is morally compelled to suffer unbearable pain. Every Queenslander has the human right to have equal access to good quality palliative care before a policy default to euthanasia and Indigenous communities need a funding boost for palliative care. This conscience vote should be accompanied by the public interest test which includes the common good, human dignity and autonomy. We need compassion.

RECONCILIATION NEWZ BUZZ 2020 no 5 Oct 2020

Ps Norman Miller in his art gallery where he made signs “No Euthanasia” and “Stop Abortion.”
Before the Qld elections, Ps Norman was at the main pre-polling booth in Cairns a number of times with these signs and signs “No Youth in Adult Jails” and “Stop Youth Suicide.”

He was standing up for life as in Qld, the government has made it legal to have abortions for any reason up to the birth of a child and if an aborted child manages to live, it is left to die. Also, the government campaigned on rushing through voluntary assisted dying legislation before waiting for the Law Reform Commission to make its recommendations on legislation next March.

Youth suicide is at crisis levels including Indigenous youth suicide. Also, the Qld government has had a record of putting youth in adult jails and treating them poorly.

The word of God urges us to choose life not death. Deut 30:15-16, 19-20 – “See, I set before you today life and prosperity, death and destruction.”

The Lord impressed on Barbara in prayer recently that life and death are in the balance. He wants us to choose life. Yet we see around us mothers killing their unborn babies and saying they have the right to choose. They are “pro-choice” not “pro-life.” The precious gift of life God has given them is rejected and they will pay the price. We see families sick of waiting for elderly parents to die and looking to hasten their death through euthanasia.

There is a huge gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians when it comes to infant mortality, life expectancy and suicide, including child and youth suicide. Many of these children and youth have been sexually or physically abused and neglected. There is a hopelessness that can affect Aboriginal communities with people constantly going to funerals.

Yet our society seems to not want to know about these things or to have seared consciences (1 Tim 4:1-2). There is a lack of compassion and morality. This comes from a society divorced from Jesus who is Life personified. He said He is the way, the truth and the life. (John 14:6). Our nation needs Jesus, revival and transformation.

Prophet Isaiah says 5:20 “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!”

Many seem to have made a covenant with death (Isaiah 28:18). We will not cheat death ourselves by making a bargain with it and allowing it to run rampant in our nation. We need to cancel any agreement we have made with death and pray others will also. Barbara’s prayer is on the Canberra Declaration website.

Reenactment of the Australian Light Horse Charge at Be’er-Sheva, Israel on the centenary 31 Oct 2017. Norman and I were privileged to take an international team of 50 there for this event and a tour through the holy sites and battle sites of Israel. We also visited Messianic Jewish and Christian Arab congregations and hosted a Sons of Abraham conference in Jerusalem. This was the culmination of many trips.

We have 3 highlight DVDs available on our 2010 Israel trip. One focuses on Following the Footsteps of Jesus, another of Following the Footsteps of the Light horse and the third on Following the Footsteps of Jesus via local congregations. See https://reconciliationandpeace.org/2020/10/in-the-steps-of-the-lighthorse-anzacs/ for more information on this amazing story and https://reconciliationandpeace.org/store for the DVDs.

Pastor Barbara Miller delivers an inspiring message for the 2020 anniversary of the 31 Oct 1917 charge where the Australian Light horsemen rode into history and turned the tide of history following the Rider on the white horse of Revelation. The breakthrough at Be’er-Sheva by Allied forces including the ANZACS led to the opening of the way to Jerusalem and the end of the 400-year rule by the Ottoman Islamic empire. It paved the way for the re-formation of the nation of Israel in 1948, fulfilling Bible prophecy. We do not want to see the death caused by war but we honour the sacrifice of those who gave their lives so that we could have peace.

There is a beautiful calendar available from Beersheba Vision which would make a great gift. This photo taken with my phone doesn’t do it justice but check out the merchandise page on http://www.beershebavision.org/ and see the calendar, coffee mugs and mouse pads etc.

The National Solemn Assemblywas an important time where the nation of Australia came to prayer, led by Indigenous leaders. Ps Peter and Maria Walker were the Indigenous hosts assisted by Indigenous pastors Ps Tim and Di Edwards and it was facilitated by the Canberra Declaration team of Ps Warwick & Alison Marsh, Ps Kym Farnik, Kurt Mahlburg and others. It was supported by the National Council of Churches.

What was particularly significant was that it was held during the 10 Days of Awe leading up to Yom Kippur and through Yom Kippur, a time of repentance on the Biblical calendar. Norman and Barbara had an opportunity to pray and lead communion along with other leaders.

You might like to check out a snippet of our contribution here – https://youtu.be/ybUJ1ER81ho. Ps Norman also shared this prophecy at the National Solemn Assembly – https://youtu.be/7Gm-MlHCAfo

It was good to have international prayer support for the National Solemn Assembly and thanks to Ps Melissa Haigh and Gloria Watkins and AHOP for organising prayer covering. The Canberra Declaration followed this up with the month of October praying for life. This has been important with some state governments bringing in abortion to birth and euthanasia. Also, there are high rates of Indigenous suicide and youth suicide generally. There have been many key leaders, including Indigenous leaders, providing daily prayer points and scriptures. Ps Barbara’s contribution is as follows – https://www.facebook.com/CanberraDeclaration/photos/a.850546588304028/4788566944501953/ / https://blog.canberradeclaration.org.au/2020/10/23/day-23-choose-life-not-death/

Feast Tabernacles Sukkot

We were blessed to be speakers at Feast of Tabernacles or Sukkothosted by Ps Jack Yeo of Emmanual Blessings Centre. The main speaker was Apostle George Annadorai who gave a powerful message about Jesus judging the nations as sheep or goat nations (Mat 25) based on their treatment of Israel.

Dr Annadorai later hosted an event Shemini Atzeret on the 8th day of the Feast where Christians from most nations from the Pacific through Asia through the Middle East stood as sheep nations and repented if their nation was anti-Israel. We stood in the gap for Australia. Our congregation met while this was happening and Judy Miller heard the shofar blowing in the heavenlies and Shirley Miller heard trumpets blowing in the heavenlies. Colleen Burfitt heard and saw the shofar blown over Abraham’s well in Be’er-Sheva.

For other messages on the feasts see https://reconciliationandpeace.org/feasts/

We hosted a wonderful Yom Kippur Service where Norman and Barbara both spoke and our guest speaker was Ps Avner Boskey from Israel and he and his wife Rachel blessed us with their worship as well. You can catch up with this on our church Facebook page of 28 Sept. Ps Avner Boskey is a Messianic Jewish author, teacher and musician. Avner and Rachel are the founders of Final Frontier Ministries, a ministry dedicated to stirring up the creative arts, worship, intercession, the prophetic and evangelism.

We will be hosting a Hannukah event soon as we commemorate all the feasts and started doing so in 1997.

Ps Norman Miller sharing further at Tabernacle of David on his prophetic word to the National Solemn Assembly 26.9.20

We have a ministry praying for the Australian government called Gathering Apostolic Prophetic Network (GAP) based on Ezek 22:30 and Isaiah 9:6-7. We have been meeting fortnightly by zoom for 2 years.

For those who may be disappointed with the results of the ACT, NZ and Qld elections, I felt the Lord bring this parable of the wheat and tares to my heart (Barbara) a few weeks ago. Mt 13:24-30. Jesus said in v30 “Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, ‘First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.’ ”

We need to continue to pray for our nations as righteousness exalts a nation. We want to also praise the Lord for His blessings on our nation. We have weathered the Covid 19 crisis and are finally at no new cases and no deaths – a double doughnut as the media has called it. It will take a long time to recover financially but the Reserve Bank is amazingly saying that we are out of recession. We continue to pray for the mental health crisis caused by Covid and that this shaking will bring revival and transformation.

We praise the Lord for the Tabernacle of David Asia Pacific Prayer Network which is hosted by Ps Norman and Barbara Miller of the Centre for International Reconciliation and Peace. We pray also for Israel, the Middle East and the Isaiah 19 highway.

We have a guest speaker for 15 mins at each of our fortnightly zoom prayer meetings and have had some wonderful speakers, beautiful worship and blessed prayer this year. Our last two speakers were Ps Emmanuel Fave, Chair All Pacific Arise and Ps Joy and Abraham Tan from Malaysia.

Other speakers we have been blessed with are Ps Shlomy and Miriam Abramov from Israel, Albert Veksler of the Jerusalem Prayer Breakfast, Dr George Annadorai from Singapore, Ps Jack Yeo from Sydney and Adel Moussa, originally from Egypt. Norman also shared a session on our long term Asia Pacific & Israel focus and Barbara shared on the de Quiros declaration and Vanuatu ministry.

The Lord bless you and keep you and make His face shine upon you.
