Let Everything That Has Breath Praise the Lord: 7 Hebrew Words for Praise by Ps Norman Miller
Praise and worship are important to come closer to God and to give Him thanks and due honour. It is also important for breakthrough in our circumstances. Discover the 7 Hebrew words for praise that can transform your life. Praise can be quiet worship or shouts of praise. It can be giving thanks and adoration to God.
It can be raising hands or clapping hands and using many types of instruments, even the didjeridoo or clapsticks or shofar. It can involve dance and use of flags and banners. We can flow into spontaneous worship led by the Holy Spirit and even write new songs. Above all it is connecting with God and uplifting for our souls. “If I Survive.” This thought haunted Lena. Her loved ones were cruelly forced from her arms in the Warsaw Ghetto in Poland and perished in Treblinka Death Camp. This is a true story of Holocaust survival. In ww2 books, it is a searing story of human rights abuses and genocide.
The story of Nazi Germany and the Jews is a story of anti-Semitism, Nazi concentration camps, gas chambers and World War 11 (wwii). The Warsaw ghetto where the Nazis had imprisoned the Jews was being emptied as Hitler’s Final Solution to murder all of European Jewry was put into action. Lena kept thinking, “It’s my turn next.” As some Jews escaped Treblinka and exposed it as being a death camp not a labour camp, young men and women in the ghetto decided to make a stand.
STRIKE ON IRAN ON SHABBAT ZACHOR, A BLOW AGAINST TERROR STATE & ANTISEMITISM
By Barbara Miller 1.3.26
Today’s Haman, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who had a similar plan to eliminate worldwide Jewry, met the same fate and on the eve of Purim – his own death. And the Jewish people live. Am Yisrael Chai.
The US and Israel attack on Iran, ancient Persia, over its nuclear and ballistic missiles and sponsorship of terrorism targeted at Israel occurred on Shabbat Zachor. This is the Shabbat before Purim which starts Monday evening. On Shabbat Zachor or the Shabbat of Remembrance, there is a supplementary reading to the parashah or torah portion. It is Deuteronomy 25:17-19 and it commands the people of God to remember the evil of Amalek and obliterate it from the earth, “obliterate the memory of Amalek from under the heavens.”
Did Israeli and even American leaders know that they fulfilled this command by striking Iran on Shabbat Zachor? I think they did. They may have even timed it for this reason.
The commandment was given when the Israelites were coming from Egypt into the Promised Land and the Amalekites attacked the stragglers, weak and elderly at the rear. The commandment was repeated by GoD to Moses in Exodus 17:14-16 when Amalek attacked them at Rephidim, challenging God’s throne, just before they got to Mt Sinai where God made covenant with them and gave them the ten commandments.
Another attempt to prevent Israel’s destiny was when David and his men returned to their camp at Ziglag to find their camp burnt and wives taken captive. This could have prevented him becoming King but he led a successful rescue. Sadly, this is near present day Kibbutz Be’eri and Kfar Aza where some of the worst atrocities occurred on October 7 and we visited there recently.
So. it is no surprise that, though the Amalekites have disappeared as a race that Israel has a habit of calling all its enemies Amalekites. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu used the term Amalekites re Hamas so the prosecutors used this to accuse him of genocide at the International Court of Justice hearings. The jury is out so to speak but the damage has been done.
Why would Amalek have a murderous hate of Israel? He was the grandson of Esau, twin to Jacob whose name was changed to Israel. Esau despised his birthright and inheritance and sold it to his brother for a bowl of lentils. Jacob tricked his father into giving him the blessing so Esau’s anger and jealously has been handed down through the generations. The covenant promises are through the lineage of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and that was God’s plan.
So, we come to the story of Purim where Haman, the Agagite is a descendant of King Agag of the Amalekites and Haman wanted the Jews in Persia to bow down to him as Prime Minister. When Mordecai refused, he got King Xerxes 1 to write a decree to have them exterminated in all the empire on 13 Adar 356 BCE. But Queen Esther (Hadassah), secretly a Jew, was asked by Mordecai to intervene. She asked all Jews to fast and pray for 3 days and then she went to the King.
When Haman’s plot was revealed, the King instructed Haman to be hung on the same gallows he’d constructed for Mordecai. As decrees could not be cancelled, the King instructed Esther and Mordecai to right another decree to reverse the effect of the first one. This meant Jews could defend themselves and even pre-emptively strike those they believed intended to kill them. The threat was eliminated and the feast of Purim instituted to celebrate.
We come back to the Shabbat Zachor strike on Iran which in some ways was pre-emptive and in some ways defensive as Iran has been responsible for funding and training many proxies to attack Israel – Hamas, Hezbollah, Houthis, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and militias in Iraq, Syria and the West Bank (Judea/Samaria.)
Israel was on the brink of signing an Abrahamic Accord with Saudi Arabia when Hamas attacked on October 7 with the aim of blowing the accord out of the water. It would have been a historic breakthrough in relations in the Middle East. Israel is now on the brink of a new breakthrough with the weakening and possible demise of the Iranian regime. Interestingly, it was the 47thPresident of the United States that has brought 47 years of Islamic terrorist rule in Iran to the brink of collapse.
I want to make two final points:
It was Persia, ancient Iran, which produced Cyrus and other kings who enabled the Jewish people to return from Babylonian captivity and financed the rebuilding of Jerusalem and the temple. We need a modern-day Cyrus in Iran who will favour Israel and may even sign the Abraham Accords or similar with it.
I take the commandment of Deuteronomy 25:17-19 about remembering the evil of Amalek and eradicating it from under heaven about being a call to us, Jews and Christians, to obliterate the spirit of Amalek which is a spirit of violent antisemitism. While radical Islam is one manifestation of it, it predates Islam by many centuries.

PROPHETIC PRAYER AND VISION OF JESUS AND HIS FOOTPRINTS AND HANDS ON BONDI BEACH 25.1.2026 BY PS NORMAN MILLER
Lord, even though we saw what took place before Christmas, we saw what took place on BondI. But Lord, I pray in this place, in this lake of Galilee, from this city. I pray Lord that there will be a catch because of the network and the influence of that network will carry and it will carry and it will draw because it will be a network Lord of people that you’ll bring together and Lord that it will be strengthened in your word in your foundation. It will be people like heart like mind. Though there are differences, but Lord, it’s you that brings about and makes a difference because of your word and the promise of your word. It will be a people of influence, importantly godly influence that you’ll bring into this network of ministries that love you, that serve you, that honor you, that will stand shoulder to shoulder Because there will be much more that you will do.
And the influences, Lord, that right now that you’re calling them to come together because it’s you that will bring them together. And Lord, we pray that even as the disciples, they were in the boat, they didn’t exactly need another boat or a bigger boat because they had you as the lordship and the kingship and you were steering them and you were healing them and you were restoring them. And as that restoration came, Lord, they were built because of you and the word of your foundations and the strength of your foundations. The word of the Lord of Jerusalem came strongly into their hearts and into their spirits and they were able to carry out as that network of people that you have joined together to bring in such a harvest to reach out. You were drawing them, Lord, for a time.
And even as the catch and they were able to come together and have that meal together, have that breakfast together with you that you will draw that network of people that right now that you’re speaking to the hearts to. And Lord, what took place on the beach of Bondi there? You will establish that beach head ministry. And Lord, even as I’m praying, I I looked on the front of my Bible and it gave that scripture of all the words of footprints. When you saw only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you. And you will call us to carry the task that you’ve given us. Your promises are yes and amen. Your covenant promises are yes and amen.
Lord, right now that you speaking to the hearts of men and women even in this nation. And Lord, even right now, I can just see your footprints in the sand deeply printed. In the sands of that beach and your hands, Lord, as we have heard the miracles that you’ve done. In the sadness of that tragedy, you will turn around for your good, the saving of many souls for your kingdom. And so Lord, the response that will come from a people that you you are speaking to right now.
When we hear them say, “The Lord spoke to me and I said, “Here I am, Lord. Send me. Here I am, Lord. Use me. That will be the response of a heart of obedience that will hear the wave and move of your Holy Spirit, the wave of your glory. And Lord, I know that you will position men and women that will come on board. And as the surfboard goes out and is ready to catch that wave, we ask and pray, Lord. There will be those that will respond and they will say, “The Lord spoke to me.” The confirming word. Because out of this place of devastation, the goodness of God will come through and shine forth. the light of the world. Shine your glory. Shine your presence. Heavy way. Heavy weight. Heavy weight. And in that song that we all know so well this little light of mine, I’m going to let it shine.
We want to thank Canberra Declaration and those who helped sponsor our trip. You share in the fruits of our work. We will be on Canberra Declaration Monday night 17/11/25 to give thanks, a report and pray. King David established this rule in 1 Samuel 30:24 “Who will listen to what you say? The share (reward) of the man who stayed with the supplies is to be the same as that of him who went down to the battle. All will share alike.”
We also thank the Lord for the opportunity to comfort His people as in Isaiah 40:1 “Comfort, comfort my people, says your God.”
and Isaiah 40: 9 “You who bring good news to Zion, go up on a high mountain. You who bring good news to Jerusalem, lift up your voice with a shout, lift it up, do not be afraid; say to the towns of Judah, ‘Here is your God!'”
Israel has been isolated and unjustly made a pariah on the world stage. Hamas and Gazans committed the worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust on October 7 2023 – the burning of babies, the raping of women in the most barbaric manner, the killing of children in front of their parents, the murder and torture of parents in front of their children, and the kidnapping of babies and the elderly including Holocaust survivors. Those hostages have been starved and abused and kept in Gazan tunnels and forced to dig their own graves. Israel was vilified before it even retaliated. Note the protests at the Sydney Opera House on October 9, 2023.
The people of Israel have been vilified. Israel has had to face the charge of genocide from the UN for defending itself, has been taken to the International Court of Justice and delegates walked out on Prime Minister Netanyahu at the United Nations. Hamas has won the propaganda war by using civilians as human shields and using hospitals, schools, residential areas, mosques and even the UN offices as Hamas headquarters. If Israel wanted to commit genocide, the war would have been over in a week instead of 2 years. Israel warns civilians and provides safe routes to relocate from the war zones. Hamas tries to prevent Gazans from escaping harm. Israel is also one of the most ethical nations worldwide and is the only democracy in the Middle East. It is defending western values.
So, what can we do? Apart from providing advocacy and running a school and a public education program, we at Indigenous Friends of Israel International provide comfort for Jewish people who are feeling under attack, isolated and fearful. We also provide support to the Jewish state and people of Israel via two projects:
The presentation of a big boomerang made and painted by Munganbana Norman Miller personally to the state of Israel in Jerusalem in November 2025.
The presentation by Norman Miller to the government of Israel of A Declaration of Solidarity with Israel from the Indigenous and Diverse Communities of the Pacific Rim. It can be found here https://indigenousfriendsofisrael.org/sign-the-declaration/
Provide Indigenous representation from Australia at the Indigenous Embassy Jerusalem events in November 2025
Whether you support the government of Israel or all its actions is not the issue. The issue is this is an existential battle for the survival of the Jewish state with Hamas, which still has a lot of support in Gaza, vowing to do October 7 over and over again till the state of Israel is eliminated “from the river to the sea” and all Jews in Israel killed or removed. We must stand with and provide comfort and support to Israel and its people at this critical time.
The Indigenous Embassy Jerusalem is held meetings in Jerusalem 4-5 November 2025 and there Indigenous people attended from around the world. So, this was perfect timing for Indigenous people worldwide to express support for Israel and its people.
Imagine how heartening it was for Israelis to find that Indigenous people have their arms wrapped around them with these gifts of the boomerang and the Declaration and the message that we care. You are not alone.
Ps Munganbana Norman took the opportunity to apologise for the hostile attitude of the Australian government towards Israel and assure the Minister of the Knesset that there were many Indigenous people and many Christians who support Israel.
Holding the boomerang and declarations – Barbara and Norman Miller, Deputy Foreign Minister of Israel Hon Sharren Haskel, Dr Sheree Trotter, co-founder of Indigenous Embassy Jerusalem, Debra Harding-Morris and David Morris. Norman presented a declaration of support for Israel from Indigenous People of the Pacific Rim and Debra presented a declaration on behalf of One New Man Council Australia. Both declarations were framed.
WHAT IS MEANING OF ARTWORK ON BOOMERANG?
Aboriginal pastor and artist Munganbana Norman Miller issued a press release on 31/10/25 before the boomerang was gifted to the Israel government and again afterwards. J-Wire and Australian Jewish News printed them and in the first one, Munganbana Norman explains the meaning of the painting:
“We want to say we care. You are the Indigenous people of Israel and you are our family. I have Jewish and Aboriginal designs on the boomerang with the Star of David in the centre. This is the meaning of the painting on the boomerang:
“This boomerang represents Indigenous peoples with earthy colours surrounding Israel, represented in the centre by the Star of David, in love, protection and blessing. Dot painting is often used in Australian Aboriginal art and it also represents here “the islands will look to Me” (Isaiah 60:9) signifying the remotest parts of the earth bringing honour to the Jewish people. We want to say with this boomerang that no matter what the world says, ‘we care and we stand with you. You are not alone.’ We honour the spiritual fathers and mothers of the land of Israel, our spiritual home.
We recognise you as Indigenous to the land of Israel just as we Indigenous people are Indigenous to our lands. Boomerangs were weapons for hunting and warfare and so this boomerang signals that we will fight for you to keep the land from the river Jordan to the Mediterranean Sea that Hashem ordained for you.
There is a scripture on the left of the boomerang Amos 9:11-15 because Hashem restored Israel, the tabernacle of David and Israel will never again be uprooted from the land Hashem gave you. On the right side is Psalm 122. Not only do we pray for the peace of Jerusalem and say peace be within you but our feet are glad to stand in the gates of Jerusalem and our tribes of the nations join the tribes of Israel and go up to worship Hashem.”
Many wonderful speakers at NAIN Canberra event including Warren Nyunggai Mundine and Mike Kelly. Supporters attended despite the rain. Thanks to organisers for their hard work.
A very touching event organised by the Israel Embassy at the ACT Jewish Community Centre Oct 26 to remember Oct 7. Lett to right – Ambassador His Excellency Amir Maimon, Jewish community members including Alan Shroot on right, Deborah O’Neill and Dave Sharma of the Parliamentary Friends of Israel lighting candles after speaking as did all the speakers. Beautiful songs and touching video for the occasion. We will miss Ambassador Amir whose term is coming to an end. It has been a tough time for an Israeli ambassador in Australia with an Australian government continually criticizing Israel.
As well attending this event, we attended an event organised by NAIN at the ACT Jewish Centre the following night with excellent speakers – Mike Kelly, Alan Shroot and Dave Sharma.
We were pleased to attend the Indigenous Embassy Jerusalem events in Israel and are gathered here with First Nations people from Canada, Alaska, Australia and NZ with organiser Dr Sheree Trotter on the left. After some drumming and dancing, the march went to the Western Wall. We were joined by Emeritus Professor Wayne Horowitz and some other Israelis.
First Nations shared with our group at the Kotel or Western Wall. Then Barbara went to the wall to pray. Norman talked to the IDF. Photo here of Shelly, Ina, Norman, Barbara and Loretta Glanville from the Torres Strait and a local Israeli with the boomerang. Loretta gave a wonderful talk at the Academic Symposium.
There were excellent presentations by all the speakers with Dr Michael Wechsler giving an excellent talk on settler colonialism and the Palestine question and Dr Charles Small an excellent talk on combatting antisemitism for example. Photo – Nova Peris OAM OLY, an Aboriginal Australian received a standing ovation and is pictured here with co-organiser and speaker Dr Sheree Trotter. Emerituis Professor Wayne Horowitz, co-organiser also spoke with both he and Sheree giving excellent presentations.
Professor Gillian Gould from Australia spoke of her upcoming book on Indigenous and Jewish collaboration which will feature Norman Miller and international examples. All presentations will be available on the Indigenous Embassy Jerusalem website.
Left- We travelled to an army base where two First Nations bands (Alaska and Canada) did a combined performance of drumming, dancing and singing to guitars and drums. The bands were Broken Walls and Okama. Melodie Greyeyes, pictured here, was the group leader and one of the dancers. This was the same group that joined the Indigenous Embassy Jerusalem in a march from the Jaffa Gate to the Kotel.
They did an engaging show and Norman and I were able to share briefly. I had a dream the night before I should share about William Cooper, an Australian Aboriginal who led a protest against Kristallnacht in 1938 while his people were still not citizens and couldn’t vote so I did. I also shared about the Australian Lighthorse and the ANZACS, including Indigenous soldiers, whose blood was shed in the soil of Israel to help bring freedom to the Jewish people.
Right – Ps Avi Mizrachi and Barbara at Alfie Menashe in Samaria. Avi and Chaya Mizrachi showed us, and a visiting rabbi and his wife from the USA, around and we had an enjoyable meal together at Kfar Sava before going to their wonderful congregational service in Tel Aviv – Dugit.
We travelled along Route 232 which runs the length of the Gaza border, connecting the kibbutzim along the Strip and then crossing into Sderot. It is the road Hamas and Islamic Jihad used on Oct 7 to slaughter Israelis including those fleeing. It is a tale of horror with shelters along the road as memorials to those killed in shelters like the one on the left at Kfar Aza where burnt out candles cover the floor and faces and tributes to the dead cover the walls.
The picture on the right is a memorial at Kfar Aza with the names of those killed on each side of the pebble path. 78 people were killed here and 19 kidnapped. It was heart-breaking. Yellow flags have been erected along the road.
Kibbutz Be’eri was attacked also with 136 killed and 32 kidnapped. The Israelis are living behind barbed wire but Hamas cut the fence to attack them. Many houses were burnt or damaged and still need repair. JNF planted a forest there after the massacre of Oct 7. We lost our son unexpectedly on Jan 27 2024, International Holocaust Remembrance Day.
Trudi Arnold on behalf of NAIN Sydney planted a tree for our son Michael and for Norman and I as well and it happened to be in this forest. It was a great comfort to know that when we had his funeral. So we prayed on site for our son and for the unspeakable loss of life that Israelis and some from other nations suffered on Oct 7.
We were hesitant to take photos at the Nova Music Festival site as it is the site of such a horrific massacre of Oct 7 so we didn’t take many. However an army commander we met at Kfar Aza showing the memorial sites to his family was touched that we cared and asked us to follow him. HIs family said they were touched also and Norman gave him a hug. We followed them to Be’eri and then had to visit the forest so didn’t follow him to Nova.
The Nova site has become a national memorial and there were a large number of Israelis there paying their respects. Families have built touching and elaborate memorials. The tribute to his young man from his family was especially touching.
We then went on to Ashkelon with our hosts Chaya, Arik and OrEl and then onto the airport for our trip home being met by Avi to be waved off. We thank them greatly for the special time we had with them.
A Declaration of Solidarity with Israel from the Indigenous and Diverse Communities of the Pacific Rim
Note – Though this declaration has been given to the Israel government, we are still collecting signatures so please forward this to Indigenous people and groups to sign.
We recognize the Jewish people as the Indigenous stewards of the land of Israel, their ancestral homeland, where their history, culture, and spiritual legacy have been rooted for millennia. This indigeneity resonates deeply with our own connections to land, tradition, and resilience, forging a sacred bond between our communities and the Jewish people. We honor Israel not only as a homeland but as a beacon of morality, kindness, and grace—a nation that exemplifies the highest standards of humanity in the face of unparalleled challenges.
Indigenous peoples of the Pacific Rim not only have a shared indigeneity with Jewish people but the shared experience of tribal societies, close family relations, attachment to land and closeness to nature. We also have shared experiences of colonisation, dispersion, ethnic cleansing, persecution, discrimination, marginalisation, trauma and the need for resilience.
Despite this, our cultures and spirituality remain strong. We applaud the Jewish people that they have been able to retain their religion and culture, revive their language and decolonise their land with the rebirth of the state of Israel in 1948 forming the only democracy in the Middle East. There is currently no dedicated, age-appropriate antisemitism education in Australian primary schools—only optional anti racism or holocaust or multicultural education. Please help us while we continue to develop this and work on its implementaton. See HERE
Our expert curriculum writer Shoshana Linnane has developed 10-week modules for Grades 1-2 and 5-6. These lessons use the story of a 7-year-old Jewish refugee girl from the kindertransport during World War II to help children understand what it means to be displaced, excluded, or vulnerable. The modules foster empathy, compassion, and respect for diversity through activities like art, music, and drama, and align with the national curriculum. We want all children to grow up in safe, inclusive communities where they learn to treat others fairly and without discrimination.
If you believe in building a future where every child feels valued and racism has no place, please consider supporting our fundraiser. Even a small contribution or sharing this opportunity to help would make a difference.

We would love to connect with you and help you support Israel, the only democracy in the Middle East, working against calls for its destruction and the genocide of its people. These calls are advancing at great pace since October 7. Indigenous Friends of Israel formed in July 2017 because of concerns over Australia’s policy towards Israel. Since then we have gone international as antisemitism is international and isan ancient hatred. The forces standing against Israel also oppose Western and/or Judeo-Christian values which have helped us achieve a society with social cohesion and the rule of law.
Please help us take a stand against antisemitism, and for a community where all are valued and safe. There are many opportunities to use your passion, gifting and skills as a volunteer whether you are a person of faith or not. United we stand and divided we fall. Hope and Victory over Evil, the Assassination of Charlie Kirk by Ps Barbara Miller 13.9.25 https://youtu.be/SwpYZwiS5rM
When I prayed at the end of this message for viewers to open their hearts and receive Jesus as their Saviour and fill that void or hole or God-space in their lives, Judy Miller who was present, saw a vision of the book of life in heaven with names being entered into it so I thank God for that. She said that when I go to heaven, people will tell me that they are there because of me.
I think this is even much more so with Charlie Kirk who opened the door of heaven for many people while he was alive so their names would be written in the book of life (eternal life). After his death, his message will bring many many more to turn their lives around and accept Jesus.
John 12.24 New Living Translation “I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat is planted in the soil and dies, it remains alone. But its death will produce many new kernels—a plentiful harvest of new lives.” Charlie loved God passionately, loved Israel passionately, loved his wife and children and nation passionately and promoted traditional Judeo-Christian values which are now counter-cultural.
He founded Turning Point and changed the lives of many young people. His death will be a turning point. While many on the left mocked, others on the left said they could not continue on the left after this callous response. Many wept and said they would follow in Charlie’s footsteps. Some commentators have said this is an issue beyond left and right wing but is good versus evil and so it is. Charlie ran the good race and won and is now with Jesus. HIs wife Erika, despite her grief, has vowed to carry on, saying her cries would become a battle cry. We pray for his wife and children, family and friends and also for the family of the killer who will be grappling with this tragedy.
CAIRNS FESTIVAL PARADE MUNGANBANA ABORIGINAL ART GALLERY FLOAT
Munganbana Norman likes to put a float in the Cairns Festival Parade each year and this year on Sept 30, the Lions of Zion from Melbourne joined us on the float. Norman called the float Let’s Dance and made a large Dancing Brolga and a large Dancing Dolphin. You can’t see the Dolphin in the photo but you can see a large Nemo or Clownfish. Norman’s family helped him again this year decorating the float.
The vision Norman had for the float was to sing and/or play the music of Christian songs and songs with good values over the city where thousands lined the streets to watch and wave. Norman particularly wanted to sing the song Jerusalema over the city, which he did to honour the holy city which is the throne Jesus will rule from for 1,000 years.
We look forward to the heavenly Jerusalem coming down over the earthly Jerusalem. Norman had asked some African dancers to join us behind the float because Jerusalema is in African but they didn’t make it. What was higly significant is that Lions of Zion from Melbourne – Isaac, Joshua and Anthony (pictured) and their families joined us which was wonderful.

PRESS RELEASE RE AUSTRALIA’S RECOGNITION OF PALESTINE 11.8.25
“The blood of Australian soldiers stained the soil of the Holy Land to free it from the colonial rule of the Ottoman Empire and their German allies in World War 1,” said Cofounders of Indigenous Friends of Israel International Foundation Ltd, Norman and Barbara Miller. “The bones of our soldiers lie in Commonwealth War Graves in Israel and Gaza.
“The ANZACs were feted by the Netanyahu Israeli government at the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Beersheba (Be’er-Sheva) on 31 October 2017. We were there, leading an international team, as Australian descendants of the light horsemen, in uniform, rode their horses through the city. We watched with excited crowds as they reenacted the famous charge that opened the way to the liberation of Jerusalem after centuries of Islamic occupation.
“But now Australia has turned its back on Israel by deciding today to recognize Palestine, committed to the destruction of Israel and the genocide or removal of its Jews.
“The Australian government plans to do this at the UN meeting in September along with France, the UK and Canada, joining 147 nations who have already done so. However, Palestinians do not want a two-state solution. They want a one-state solution, all of Israel with Jerusalem as their capital.
“So, do we want it on our conscience that we are recognizing a terror state that has gloated over and vowed it will repeat the October 7 civilian massacre, rape, torture, and kidnapping war crimes over and over again?”See rest HERE
Statement by Sarah and Daniel Rabin of Caulfield Shule on Facebook 4.8.25
“At a time when many in our community are feeling shaken by the rise of hate, the silence of some, and the fear that Australia is losing its way, we were reminded that we are not alone.
This week at @caulfieldshule , we were deeply moved by a visit from Norman and Barbara Miller. Norman, an Aboriginal artist, presented us with two hand-painted sticks, adorned with the colours of the Aboriginal flag and the flag of Israel, wrapped in a yellow cloth as a tribute to the hostages still in Gaza.
Norman spoke of the prophecy in Yechezkel (Ezekiel), the vision of two sticks becoming one in G-d’s hand, a symbol of unity, healing, and strength. His message was powerful: the people of Israel are strong, our story endures, and we are not abandoned.
This gift was more than art. It was a gesture of solidarity. A reminder that there are brave and moral voices, Indigenous leaders and many others, who stand with us.
To Norman and Barbara, and to all who refuse to let hate speak louder than truth, thank you.
And to our community: take heart. We are part of a sacred story that continues with faith, unity, and courage. Am Yisrael Chai”

Gofundme for Schools Antisemitism Education
From the River Jordan to the Sea of Galilee by Ps Norman Miller 9.8.25 Though many who chant Free Palestine don’t realize which river and sea they are talking about, it is from the River Jordan to the Mediterranean Sea. Ps Norman wanted to share here about the Sea of Galilee in a message the Lord put on his heart. See video HERE https://youtu.be/brGxsRhUVrI

Prophet Balaam & Tisha B’Av: the Power of Blessing & Cursing & Negative Words by Ps Barbara Miller 12.7.25
The Seventeenth of Tammuz is on July 13 and starts the 3 weeks to 9 Av or Tisha B’Av. The Seventeenth of Tammuz is a Jewish fast day commemorating the breach of the walls of Jerusalem before the destruction of the Second Temple. The three weeks is a mourning period leading up to Tisha B’Av. However there were many tragedies that occurred on 9 Av going back to when the 12 spies were sent out to reconnaissance the Promised Land.
We launched the Schools Antisemitism Education Project in Cairns 7 July in a wonderful event at the Munganbana Aboriginal Art Gallery
Famous Aboriginal singer, artist, didjeridoo player and edutainer, Dr David Hudson spoke. David played the didjeridoo at the official ceremony for the Be’er-Sheva centenary in Israel in 2017. We were blessed to have Rabbi Ari Rubin from Chabad Rural and Remote speaking as well. He has studied in London, New York and Israel and worked globally.
Ps Norman Miller was MC and movingly sang October Rain which was sung by Eden Golan of Israel at Eurovision to commemorate October 7. David and Rabbi Ari spoke about William Cooper because he is the Father of NAIDOC and we launched this event as part of the official NAIDOC Week events. Barbara spoke on the Antisemitism Project. Two videos are available. You might like to check out our press release on examples of antisemitic events in schools. HERE

Election Aftermath: Where to now re Australia’s stand on Israel and the Jewish people?”
Zoom by Indigenous Friends of Israel International Monday May 26 7.30pm.
Speakers are Roz Mendelle, co-director of the Qld Jewish Collective and co-director of Minority Impact Coalition who was very active in the election. Ps Norman Miller, co-founder of IFI Int, who ran as an Independent in the federal election, will be the other speaker. The next newsletter will give you the flyer and registration link. Save the date and let your friends know.
One concern among many in the election result is that the Liberals lost the election resoundingly. They had accepted all 15 recommendations coming out of the Antisemitism Summit in Sydney that we attended earlier this year. The Labor party has not accepted any of them and is anti-Israel.

Norman ran as an Independent for Leichhardt in north Qld and also helped Jewish groups with their campaign to cause the antisemitic party of the Greens, who had been supporting Hamas, to loose seats. While Norman did not win, he ran for public office as the Lord had called him to do and we wait to see what the Lord will do with his obedience. However the campaign against the Greens was very successful.
Also, Advance funded and strategised well in its campaign against the Greens, The Greens lost their leader Adam Bandt and have lost 3 or 4 House of Representative seats meaning they may have no MPs at all except in the Senate. This was one of Norman’s videos which was used in the campaign https://www.instagram.com/reel/DIxqyNjTAlB/?igsh=cjUwaGg3enliZW90
We thank all those who gave Norman support!!!

RED WAVE A BLOOD STAIN ON OUR NATION
By Ps Barbara Miller
During our weekend church service, Judy Miller was sharing about the red wave across Australia that the media spoke about with the Labor win and said it reminded her of the blood of the Lord but the enemy is a counterfeit.
Immediately I saw the red across our nation as the blood of unborn babies as Labor is pro-abortion. Unexpectedly, this week there was a sudden push to ram an abortion bill through the NSW Parliament to force Catholic and Christian hospitals, doctors and nurses to do abortions against their conscience. A deal was done between Labor and Greens to keep this quiet until after the election and then they pounced deceitfully immediately upon election end.
Abortion is already easy to get and subsidized by the government and is available right up to birth so is very radical. This bill threatens freedom of religion and freedom of speech. Praise the Lord, 10,000 people rallied this week on the steps of parliament house and this part of the bill was defeated but there are still 3 parts of the bill that need defeating.
We now have a Marxist government in majority federally so we need stronger than ever prayer. Here is Ps Norman’s message on religious freedom that was on his election website during the election. CLICK HERE
