TABERNACLE OF DAVID CAIRNS
A glimpse of our congregation’s meeting area. This was not staged but taken as I walked by. Such a blessing. You can just see the well we named Rehoboth which was made for a conference we hosted in 2003 called Redigging the Wells of Revival and Transformation. It refers to the Gen 26:18-26 scriptures where Isaac redug the wells of his father Abraham. The Philistines had stopped up the well after Abraham passed away. Today the wells of revival have been stopped up by the enemy and we need to redig those wells and bring forth revival again. At our conference, we brought together Aboriginal communities who had experienced revival like Elcho Island, Pinnacle Pocket, Yarrabah etc. with the City Transformation movement under Brian Pickering and Ben Gray. Brian was a speaker. It was a wonderful time with prophetic words flowing.
19 Also Isaac’s servants dug in the valley, and found a well of running water there. 20 But the herdsmen of Gerar quarreled with Isaac’s herdsmen, saying, “The water is ours.” So he called the name of the well Esek, because they quarreled with him. 21 Then they dug another well, and they quarreled over that one also. So he called its name Sitnah. 22 And he moved from there and dug another well, and they did not quarrel over it. So he called its name Rehoboth, because he said, “For now the Lord has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.”

Ps Norman Miller had a wonderful message and prophetic word on Expanding Our Territory with many scriptures but the prayer of Jabez was a key one. Unfortunately, he didn’t want it recorded. Do pray this prayer and be blessed.
Barbara has prepared a Holocaust Handbook forAustralian schools so please pray that those in charge of the curriculum in all states will be interested in using it. It mentions William Cooper, an Aboriginal Christian who led the Australian Aborigines’ League in a protest to the German consulate in Melbourne in 1938 against Kristallnacht. A New Review – Decrees and Dangerous Prayers
Decrees and Dangerous Prayers is a very powerful tool for those passionate to change history. Barbara Miller rightly quotes the words found in proverbs, “Life and death are indeed in the power of the tongue.” Jesus rarely prayed for people rather he decreed or commanded healing. The prophets of Israel did the same.
Peter the apostle did not pray for the cripple at the gate beautiful rather he decreed God’s will over the man through the gift of faith. The rest is history!
Acts 3:1-8 says, “Peter and John went to the Temple one afternoon to take part in the three o’clock prayer service. As they approached the Temple, a man lame from birth was being carried in. Each day he was put beside the Temple gate, the one called the Beautiful Gate, so he could beg from the people going into the Temple. When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for some money.
Peter and John looked at him intently, and Peter said, ‘Look at us!’ The lame man looked at them eagerly, expecting some money. But Peter said, ‘I don’t have any silver or gold for you. But I’ll give you what I have. In the name of Jesus Christ, the Nazarene, get up and walk!’
Then Peter took the lame man by the right hand and helped him up. And as he did, the man’s feet and ankles were instantly healed and strengthened. 8He jumped up, stood on his feet, and began to walk! Then, walking, leaping, and praising God, he went into the Temple with them.”
I have known Ps Barbara Miller since the early nineties along with her husband Ps Norman Miller. She has authored over 10 books and she is a mighty woman of God as is her husband, Norman Miller. They helped launch a prophetic decree for this nation called the Canberra Declaration on 21 July 2010 that has blossomed into a significant ministry in the nation for righteousness.
What am I saying? Ps Barbara is not just a writer but a doer. She has lived and breathed, “Decrees and Dangerous Prayers,” for over 30 years. This book is testimony to that fact. Reading this book will inspire you, challenge you and change you. I highly recommend it for all believers!

Ps Norman has made a gunyah (traditional Aboriginal dwelling) in his backyard from which to send Christian messages out by video. SHOFAR, MENORAHS & 2 SILVER TRUMPETS
We praise the Lord for His many blessings. Norman and Thomas blow the shofar before every service we have on Saturdays and Thomas with either Judy or Debbii blow the 2 silver trumpets on special occasions. The Hannukah menorah is not on this table but 2 other menorahs are, along with a conch shell, and a small ark of the covenant is behind the grapes. There is also a white crown just behind the candle holder. This table was not set up in any particular way and I couldn’t resist taking a photo with my phone as I walked past it. So much here precious to us and the Lord. There is also a 25 there which lights up. We used it to celebrate 25 years of ministry last year.

HEALING THE COMMONWEALTH
You may remember that at the Healing the Commonwealth prayer event on 27.6.22, prayer leaders from Britain and the Commonwealth nations joined together in a time of fresh repentance and forgiveness for how the UK treated commonwealth nations. Norman was asked, along with other nations, to share testimonies of past reconciliation events between Britain and Australia that we have been involved with since 1997. All continents were represented in the 27.6.22 event. Brian Pickering of the Australian Prayer Network lead the 1999 Reconciliation Tour of England by the Australian team and spoke before Norman. Norman and Barbara were part of the team that went to England in 1999. Before that, they hosted an international conference on reconciliation in Cairns, Australia in 1998 at which Brian and the British team, led by Brian Mills, spoke. The Millers were also involved in the 2 Chron 7:14 prayer event led by Ps Ben Gray and Brian Pickering in Uluru in 1999.
An anointed follow-up event called Blessing the Commonwealth was held by the World Prayer Centre in Birmingham, England before the Commonwealth Games which is currently being held there. We could not be there but joined with Malaysian and Indonesian pastors and intercessors the same day.

Right, 2012 – Kevin Russell and Uncle Boydie (William Cooper’s family) and Norman Miller leading a march from William Cooper’s old home in Footscray to the Melbourne CBD where the German consulate was in 1938. It was a re-enactment of the protest by William Cooper and the Australian Aborigines’ League re Kristallnacht, the start of the Holocaust. Abe Schwarz, the Melbourne Holocaust Museum and Barbara Miller organised the event. It coincided with the launch of Barbara’s book called Wiliam Cooper, Gentle Warrior.

Fifteen years later, in 1955, the date changed to the first Sunday in July and became known as National Aborigines Day. In 1957, the National Aborigines Day Observance Committee (NADOC) was formed whose goal was to promote awareness of Aboriginal people, their cultures and their plight. In 1989, the title changed to NAIDOC Week to include Torres Strait Islanders in the national celebrations. So, we owe it to William Cooper who got the ball rolling.
The message also covers Isa 53 and salvation and Isa 55.
You can change the history of nations, shift atmospheres. You can command barriers to come down. Doors to open. Hopeless situations to shift.
God wants you to partner with Him to establish His will. Yet, prayers of petition will sometimes not be enough. STREET MUSIC AND BREAD MINISTRY – REVIVAL IS COMING
Norman has been worshipping on the Cairns Esplanade now 3 nights a week for 5 years and has seen people renew their faith, dance in the streets, pour out wine or throw away packets of cigarettes. God is impacting the city of Cairns and tourists through this ministry. Videos of him singing are being shared around the world and touching unknown lives. The bread ministry continues to bless the needy as well.
Norman is also an Aboriginal artist and is donating a large painting to Rosie’s Friends on the Street who feed the homeless. They are fundraising for a new van. His father Barclay had a great heart for the homeless and would receive calls in the middle of the night from homeless people who needed food or blankets and he would always get up and help out from his own cupboard. WORKING WITH CATHOLIC SCHOOLS
Norman does art and culture workshops at Catholic schools where he can share scripture and pray. He recently did one for teachers at St Gerard Majella school around the campfire. He also does art workshops for children for different organisations.

THE TABERNACLE OF DAVID
We have had this pulpit with a map of Australia on top of a tree stump for a long time. It was given to us by Ps Royree Jensen of Brisbane and Ps Dutch Sheets was the last person to preach on it before we received it. Norman painted it and put Uluru in the centre with a dove and 2 Chron 7:14 on it. We usually have a heart-shaped stone from the Galilee in the middle of it to symbolize Australia having a heart of flesh not a stony heart towards God. Since our congregation has been called the Tabernacle of David for many years, Norman felt led by the Lord to repaint it and put Amos 9:11 there about the rebuilding of the Tabernacle of David.

As each panel member, including Norman, had only 4 mins to share, Barbara is able to give a longer account for those interested in what was an amazing series of reconciliation events that has continued to affect our ministry. ‘Blessing the Commonwealth’ 16th July Birmingham
Update from World Prayer Centre
We are looking forward to our upcoming event ‘Blessing the Commonwealth’ on Saturday 16th July in Birmingham city centre! Our team led a powerful time at our recent ‘Healing the Commonwealth’ prayer event as we repented for the pain caused to Commonwealth nations and territories when Britain created the British Empire and later the Commonwealth.
We want to take proactive steps to heal the divide between territories and nations. That’s where you come in – you’ve got the power! Jesus called us to carry the gospel of peace wherever we go. And we believe in the power of prayer. This is your opportunity to pray for restoration and for salvation for Commonwealth nations. Have you got your ticket for our ‘Blessing the Commonwealth’ event?
We love that we can now connect together in-person and we urge you to join us in the room at Gas Street Church. We will have an amazing time of worship with Tim Hughes and Gas Street Music. There will be guest speakers from across the Commonwealth and of course opportunities to pray.
This July and August the Commonwealth is coming to Birmingham in the form of the Commonwealth Games, known as ‘the friendly games’. As thousands of athletes and officials arrive from the 54 nations, we want to prepare a highway of blessing and thanksgiving.

Munganbana will be marching again in the NAIDOC Cairns march this week. Munganbana Norman Miller said, “I will be carrying a giant boomerang I made with Voice Treaty Truth on it as I support the Uluru Statement from the Heart.”
He said, “I will also be wearing a T-shirt saying “Israel, Since 1948” commemorating the reforming of the modern state of Israel and a Holocaust pin. This is because Aboriginal Christian leader, William Cooper is the father of NAIDOC, initiating it on 28 January 1940 as an annual Aboriginal Sunday supported by the churches.
“In 1955, the date changed to the first Sunday in July and became known as National Aborigines Day. In 1957, the National Aborigines Day Observance Committee (NADOC) was formed whose goal was to promote awareness of Aboriginal people, their cultures and their plight. When asked where the Israel connection is, Munganbana said that William Cooper led the Australian Aborigines’ League on a protest to the German Consulate in Melbourne in 1938 against the treatment of Jewish people at Kristallnacht, the start of the Holocaust.
Munganbana said, “This was remarkable because Aboriginals were not citizens of their own nation at the time and would not be till the 60s. Also, it was of the few private protests worldwide with a slow response from governments. My wife Barbara and I were privileged to be at Yad Vashem World Holocaust Remembrance Center in Israel for the honouring of William Cooper in December 2010.
“My wife has since written 3 books on him which are available at my Munganbana Reef and Rainforest Aboriginal Art Gallery in 33 Lake Street. The cover for the first book, William Coper Gentle Warrior, has a photo of William Cooper superimposed over my canvas painting, The Gathering. I am an Aboriginal artist and have had my own art gallery for over 25 years.
“I support the constitutional recognition of the Voice and will be at the Cairns Esplanade near the lagoon at 12.30 pm on Tuesday 5 July with my giant boomerang and singing a song I wrote called Reconciliation.
“At the march on Friday and at the Esplanade on Tuesday, people will be able to sign the back of the boomerang.
“I’m also writing a book called Boomerang Man because I have made a number of giant boomerangs over the years on my grassroots campaign for constitutional recognition of First Nations People which I started in 2014 and one of them is in the Museum of National Democracy in Canberra.”

GOD TV SATELLITES TO GO INTO CAPE YORK
The Restoring Hope Ministry team have been in Cape York in June installing reception for GOD TV in a number of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. They have been to Cairns, Yarrabah, Mareeba, Cooktown, Hopevale, Wujul Wujul, Bamaga, Weipa and Napranum. Some of the team will return to install God TV on islands of the Torres Straits.
This is a photo of the team which have been received with open arms – Brian Sonnerman and Greg Gannon from Geraldton, Rod Baker from NSW, David Jack and Tony and Delia Kish from Melbourne, and Donna Meehan and Lorraine Kelly from Newscastle. 55 installations have been made and it has brought great joy and comfort to the communities concerned with the systems being installed in churches and at some homes where people like to meet. Great to see the good news being spread and eagerly received and blessings to the team who went.

We were blessed to pray for and send off the team in Cairns on their way to the Cape and give them prophetic words re their trip. They hope to service other communities in the future.

CHANGE OF GOVERNMENT IN AUSTRALIA
Hi all. We bless you in the name of the Lord. Despite losing our Christian Prime Minister, Scott Morrison, at the recent national elections, we praise the Lord that He is in control and His ways are higher than our ways. After all, history is His story. We hope it’s not a story of God giving us what we want despite His will which is what happened when God gave Israel King Saul at their request. 1 Sam 12:13.
There has been a recent change of government in Australia with the Australian Labor Party taking control of the House of Representatives with preference votes from the Greens. They will depend on the Green vote to pass their bills through the Senate. Both parties have antisemitic policies so we need a lot of prayer for Australia to continue to be a sheep nation. KEYS TO AUSTRALIA’S DESTINY
Keys to Australia’s Destiny was launched Saturday, May 14. Jill Curry is the editor and there are 24 key leaders who have written chapters in it. Barbara’s chapter was called “The Prophetic Destiny for Australia and the Pacific” but Jill changed the title to “God’s Story – Past, Present and Future.” Norman’s chapter is “Healing the Hurts of History” where he shares about our journey of reconciliation.
Jill says, “May 14 is a significant day for both Australia and Israel. It was not only the day Israel was born in 1948 (on the Western calendar) but also the day that de Quiros made his proclamation in 1606 regarding the ‘Southlands of the Holy Spirit’ from Vanuatu over all the lands south to the pole. This is referred to by numerous writers in the book. Both of these events are keys to Australia’s destiny.”

UKRAINE BECAME A CHRISTIAN NATION IN 988
Photos – Statue in Kensington commemorating Ukraine becoming a Christian nation in 988. It is a statue of St Volodymyr. I received the photos from Sally Rickard from CityPrayerNet in the UK. The second photo is the base of the statue. Please continue to keep Ukraine in prayer. Reports from Israel are that the situation is dire.
RECONCILIATION WEEK – 27 MAY – 3 JUNE
Photo on the left – The Catholic Cathedral Cairns where Norman was the artist in 2017 for the Sea of Hands display for Reconciliation Week. He also taught the students at one of the Catholic schools a song he had written on reconciliation and they sang it together at a Reconciliation Mass at the Cathedral.
This year, St Josephs School in Cairns used the Reconciliation song Norman wrote to play when the students entered the school hall for the Reconciliation Mass. Norman was able to do an interview with our local newspaper The Cairns Post for Reconciliation Week 2022 and the removal of the Captain Cook statue to another resting place as it made way for redevelopment for James Cook University.

55TH ANNIVERSARY OF REUNIFICATION OF JERUSALEM
May 29 is the anniversary of the Six Day War when the Arab states invaded Israel and Israel defeated them in 6 days in a miracle. Jerusalem was reunited and Israel gained back Judea and Samaria and the Golan Heights. It is celebrated as Jerusalem Day and a march is held each year called a flag march. Hamas has called for violent demonstrations against the Jewish state and the march using the false accusation that Israel is going to tear down Al-Aqsa mosque.
