This is just a quick newsletter to let you know about the next zoom seminar for Indigenous Friends of Israel International. We have loads to share re ministry but will do so soon. May the Lord bless you!

Etienne has a biography written about his amazing life by Mordechai Nisan “The Conscience of Lebanon.” Mordechai is an Israeli professor and scholar of Middle East Studies at the Rothberg International School of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Etienne will hopefully join us live but if not by pre-recorded interview with a family member of his to do the Q and A. He is very much in demand at the moment with the crisis in Lebanon.

Etienne’s daughter is a famous singer and we will open with a song of hers – the Lord’s prayer – in Aramaic, the language of Jesus. So spread the word!

She will speak on a First Nations Summit she organised in Canada at the end of May to which Norman and Barbara were invited but couldn’t go because of other commitments.

(top right) Hon Alfred Ngaro was the first Cook Islander member of the NZ House of Representatives serving 2011 to 2020. Alfred re-established the Parliamentary Friends of Israel Group. He served as a Cabinet Minister & later cofounder of the Indigenous Coalition for Israel & Indigenous Embassy Jerusalem.

Australia Betrays Israel at the United Nations

On the eve of the 76th anniversary of the proclamation of the state of Israel on 14 May 1948, Australia has betrayed the only democracy in the Middle East at the recent United Nations vote on Palestine.

On Israel’s Day of Independence or National Day, it will be asking if it has any allies in the world. Prime Minister Netanyahu has said he will go it alone if he has to so that more October 7s, promised by Hamas, will not occur and Israel can survive as a nation as it faces the existential threat from Iran and its proxies. SEE MORE ON CANBERRA DECLARATION

We Stand Up For Israel: Indigenous Friends of Israel by Munganbana Norman Miller

The star of David is the centre of this painting just as Jerusalem is the centre of the world (Ezekiel 5:5). The star of David is also on Israel’s flag. It is surrounded by yellow ochre representing G-d’s glory and His calling for the Jewish people to be a light to the nations. The Magen David is encircled by blue and white dots representing Israel.

The dots that continue to circle it reflect the yellow and red ochres of the earth and of the sun. They also represent sunrises and sunsets. This speaks of the heavens touching the earth. The purple dots represent royalty as Jerusalem will be Messiah’s throne. The stars in the sky represent the stars of the southern cross over Australia and in its flag.

The dots also represent the Indigenous Friends of Israel as the Indigenous people of the earth surround, protect, and support her.

The dove of peace, also representing the spirit of G-d, alights over the star of David. As Psalm 85:10-11 (NLT) says: Unfailing love and truth have met together; righteousness and peace have kissed. Truth springs up from the earth, and righteousness smiles down from heaven.

May Australia shine like the stars in heaven to reflect God’s glory and His love for Israel (Daniel 12:3)

Never Again is Now. We stand against antisemitism. And never again will Israel be uprooted from the land G-d has given them. (Amos 9:11-15)

Purim Reversal to Hamas and the Amalek Spirit by Ps Barbara Miller 23.3.24

Israel today is fighting a war for its survival just like Jewish people were threatened with annihilation during the time of Esther which we now commemorate at the Feast of Purim. Three times in history the Jewish people have been threatened with or experienced annihilation or genocide with forces starting with H (1) Haman (2) Hitler and (3) Hamas which means violence.

The Amalek spirit is behind it. Today we hear “From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free” which does not refer to Gaza but refers to the whole of Israel, the land God promised to the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob or Israel. It goes back to the ancient hatred and sibling rivalry of Esau towards his twin Jacob.

God pronounced judgement on the Amalekites because they attacked the weakest of the Hebrews as they crossed over from Egypt to the Promised Land. They attacked from behind the sick, elderly etc. (sounds like Oct 7)

The story of the bible book of Esther is how Haman tricked the king into signing a decree to kill all the Jews in the kingdom of Persia which was most of the known world at that time.

But God was about to do a divine reversal of Haman’s plans. It is said that if King Saul had killed King Agag when instructed to, the Amalekites would not have produced Haman with his genocidal plan against the Jews. Though Samuel killed him one day later, he was able to have a descendant.

Mordecai, a Jew, and his niece Esther were raised up by God in His plan of saving the Jews from extermination. Amazingly, Mordecai was a descendant of Kish, the Benjamite who was the father of King Saul. Prophetic justice was served.

This gives us another interesting parallel. Every year, the chapter, “Remember what Amalek did unto thee” (Deut. 25:17-19), is read in the synagogue on the Sabbath preceding Purim, and the story of Saul and Agag in 1 Samuel 15 is read as the Haftarah or reading from the prophets.

I see parallels with Netanyahu being urged not to fight in Rafah to finish off Hamas because of the great loss of civilian life & the humanitarian crisis. While Hamas must bear responsibility for using civilians as human shields, using hospitals and schools, and stealing food and aid money and the numbers are inflated, Israel is losing the support of its main ally the US.

Saul did not want to destroy the King of the Amalekites and somehow his progeny lived on to almost be successful in totally wiping out the Jews worldwide in the time of Esther. Netanyahu is saying that Israel cannot live in security because,unless they defeat Hamas, Hamas has promised many more Oct 7’s.

I believe God is declaring a divine reversal in this time of favour for His people. We know that the hatred of Jews is because they were chosen by God to bring his plan of redemption to mankind who are rebellious to God and are jealous of His chosen people.

Listen to the video to get more. Have you been called into your situation for such a time as this like Esther? Do you need to write a decree to reverse an evil decree? (Esther 8:8). Remember that prayer and fasting brought a breakthrough.

The 50:20 Window for the Harvest and Obeying God’s Will by Ps Norman Miller 30.3.24

Genesis 50:20 You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. We are in a time of harvest. Fulfill the Great Commission
We need 3 things:
1. Adjustment to God’s will
2. Assignment – Find our assignment and fulfill it
3. Alignment with God’s will

Micah 6:8, the “Micah Mandate,” gives a balanced answer to today’s spiritual and political questions. “What does the Lord require of you? To act justly, and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”

Ps Norman Miller felt the Lord put this scripture on his heart as a word to us by the Lord for 2024 – Proverbs 20:24 the passion translation

It is the Lord who directs your life, for each step you take is ordained by God to bring you closer to your destiny. So much of your life, then, remains a mystery!
Also Psalm 24 is on his heart for the new year

Never again is a grassroots movement led by Christians and Christian leaders. We partner with Israeli and Jewish communities to stop antisemitism. Famous Australian leaders and entertainers will speak and perform. Police and security will be present. 

Everyone is invited to join with thousands of others to stand with our Jewish friends and neighbours.  This matters to anyone persecuted for their faith or race.

Take a stand against antisemitism.  We will sing. We will pray. We will push back the darkness and the hatred.

3 DECREES OR DECLARATIONS FOR YOU TO USE by Barbara Miller THESE ARE BASED ON ISRAEL’S HISTORY and can happen again

(1) We declare a miracle that Israel’s time will be extended by supernatural means to destroy Hamas and all its enemies as in the time of Joshua when the sun and moon stood still and that it will have the international support to do so. (Joshua 10)

(2) We declare that, as in the time of David, Israel will retrieve all the hostages taken by Hamas and other terror groups with no more loss of life and that they would be physically and emotionally healed and their families and all Israel comforted. (1 Samuel 30)

(3) We declare that all who fight Israel will be thrown into fear, panic and confusion and be ambushed as in the day of King Jehosophat when the armies of Amon, Moab and Mt Seir attacked and defeated one another instead of the Jewish people and Judah won. (2 Chronicles 20)

REGISTER HERE FOR SPECIAL EVENT IN SYDNEY

On 29 November, 1947, a 2000-year-old dream became reality: A Jewish State was born anew in its ancient homeland. On that day the UN General Assembly voted on Resolution 181, adopting a plan to partition the British Mandate into two states, one Jewish, and one Arab.

Commemorate this event with the Jewish community in Sydney this Wednesday night. Christians are invited. Norman and Barbara will be among the speakers. We invite you to stand with Israel at this special time. When the legitimacy of the state of Israel is being questioned, we need to remind ourselves of this UN Resolution approving of it in 1947. The international community welcomed Israel to the community of nations. The Jews accepted the proposal and the Arabs didn’t as they have rejected a number of peace plans since then. In the end, it is only God’s peace plan that will work.

Pastors Norman and Barbara Miller will be at the pro-Israel rally on the lawns of Parliament House Canberra on Tuesday 28 November 7-9am. We will then go to Sydney from Wednesday to Friday for meetings there. Please join us and/or keep us in prayer and our loved ones at home. God bless you.

Indigenous Friends of Israel Decry Islamic Preachers’ Calls for Jihad by Norman & Barbara Miller

Indigenous Friends of Israel founders Norman and Barbara Miller refute the claims of Brother Ismail recently at the Al Madina Dawah Centre, southwest Sydney that Hamas is not a terrorist organisation. He also called for Jihad.

Indigenous Friends of Israel also raises concerns that not only has the Al Madina Dawah Centre not distanced themselves from this, but it has released a similar tirade from another preacher. No other Islamic organisation has taken issue with this call to kill Jews either.

Hamas is recognised as a terrorist organisation in Australia and other nations and the slaughter, torture, and mutilation of Israelis, many in their beds, the burning alive of families, raping women, beheading babies, killing children and elderly including Holocaust survivors and kidnapping is a terrorist act. It has unleashed a bloodlust around the world for Jewish blood, which is what was intended. This cannot be justified under any circumstances. SEE MORE

Over the last two decades Avner and Rachel have raised their family in the Negev.  During these years they established weekly worship and prayer meetings for local believers and for thousands of visitors from many nations.  They have written and recorded much original Messianic worship music.  They oversee a loose-knit community of worshippers, intercessors and prophetic artists in the Negev.  They have hosted seminars on the prophetic gifts and prophecy in Scripture.  

Avner regularly writes informative newsletters to encourage prayer for Israel and to help God’s people be more aware of current events in Israel and around the world from a biblical perspective.

Avi and Chaya Mizrachi are the founding pastors of Adonai Roi Congregation and Dugit Outreach Ministries. Avi is a recognized leader in Israel and an international conference speaker. His heart’s desire is to share the Good News with Israelis and disciple them to become strong believers, rooted and grounded in the word of God. Chaya has a heart to minister the love and healing power of Yeshua to Israeli women. Chaya has also led teams to work in bomb shelters during war times in Israel.

Many just left with the clothes on their backs and are in need of help. Lives have been turned upside down. It is not safe yet to return and rebuild and probably won’t be for a long time.

Unfortunately, Rabbi Ari Rubin from Chabad NQ had to draw attention to the bullying of Jewish schoolchildren in Cairns. Children at private and public schools called Jewish children “dirty Jews” and one 11-year-old Jewish girl was circled by schoolchildren shouting “Free Palestine” to her. This is inexcusable antisemitism, racism, and intimidation. Indigenous Friends of Israel has responded by trying to get antibullying education from Courage to Care into these schools. We were able to get Courage to Care into many schools in the Far North run by Catholic Education a number of years ago.
