Why would you want a book on William Cooper?

• I am working on a TV series on William Cooper so the books will be in demand down the track. Please pray for the right script and scriptwriter, the right producer and media outlet, finance, and for William Cooper’s family and myself as we work on this.
• I have written a Handbook on the Holocaust and the Australian Aboriginal Response which includes what William Cooper and the Australian Aborigines’ League did. We hope to get it into Holocaust studies in Australian schools and universities. Please pray for this.
• He was one of the first Aboriginal Christians in Australia
• He was the first Australian Aboriginal to stand up for persecuted Jews by protesting Kristallnacht, the start of the Holocaust in 1938, leading other Aborigines to do so
• He was the father of reconciliation in Australia between Jews and Christians
• He was the father of Aboriginal Sunday which became NAIDOC over the years or a national week of celebration of Australia’s First Nations peoples.
• He was a pioneer of the Aboriginal movement for social justice in Australia. He called it the “uplift” of his people.
• He formed the first national Aboriginal organisation in Australia in the 1930’s and much more
