PRESS RELEASE 24.1.25 – NO ANTISEMITISM PLEASE ON AUSTRALIA DAY & INTERNATIONAL HOLOCAUST REMEMBRANCE DAY

“We are approaching two very important commemorations – Australia Day on January 26 and International Holocaust Remembrance Day on January 27. The latter is particularly significant as it is the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau Nazi concentration camp,” said Norman and Barbara Miller, Cofounders of Indigenous Friends of Israel International.

“We do this at a time when our nation is facing a crisis of social cohesion, the lack of moral clarity and will to act of our government, and forces that would gladly tear the fabric of our society apart.

“Cultural Marxists who jump on every bandwagon including Indigenous rights and the rise of antisemitism since October 7, Islamo-fascists and neo Nazis – all unlikely bedfellows, have been on the streets every weekend for 15 months now ripping up the peace and safety of Jewish Australians and holding all Australians to ransom….” READ MORE

PUBLIC RELATIONS CAMPAIGN AGAINST ANTISEMITISM AND ANTI-ISRAEL BIAS

We thank those who have donated to our Public Relations Campaign Against Antisemitism. We are closing the Gofundme campaign which was not well supported but it is still possible to donate as it will be a long-term campaign and never has it been more needed.

We are continuing with our monthly zoom seminar series and daily social media reaching out worldwide to counter lies re current events and history. We also have a schools education program preparing materials for primary school.

The Australian Jewish News wrote an article about our project last week SEE HERE

EDUCATION CAMPAIGN AGAINST ANTISEMITISM & DISINFORMATION ABOUT ISRAEL

CAMPAIGN OVERVIEW – COMPASSION AND EDUCATION
In a world where misinformation and prejudice often overshadow truth, it’s crucial to elevate voices that stand for justice, compassion, and education. The Indigenous Friends of Israel International is dedicated to fostering understanding, combating disinformation, and supporting the Jewish community both locally and internationally.

Please get involved! We need your help!

We would love to connect with you and help you support Israel, the only democracy in the Middle East, working against calls for its destruction and the genocide of its people. These calls are advancing at great pace since October 7. Indigenous Friends of Israel formed in July 2017 because of concerns over Australia’s policy towards Israel. Since then we have gone international as antisemitism is international and is an ancient hatred. The forces standing against Israel also oppose Western and/or Judeo-Christian values which have helped us achieve a society with social cohesion and the rule of law.

Please help us take a stand against antisemitism, and for a community where all are valued and safe.  There are many opportunities to use your passion, gifting and skills as a volunteer whether you are a person of faith or not.  United we stand and divided we fall. Please complete the form to volunteer.

Are you good at creating or sharing social media, fundraising, administration, film and video making, government advocacy, newsletters, speaking, representing a geographical area, organising zoom meetings or do you have other giftings or talents that you can use to bless the Lord, the Jewish people, and Israel. It doesn’t matter where you live in the world, you can get involved. Check it out here.

PRESS RELEASE RE AUSTRALIA NOT RECOGNISING WEST JERUSALEM AS THE CAPITAL OF ISRAEL

By Norman and Barbara Miller, Indigenous Friends of Israel 19.10.22

Jihadi Bob Carr has been pushing the terrorist organization Hamas’ position for some years. So now we have Penny Wong, Anthony Albanese, Tony Burke, and the ALP cabinet reversing the previous government’s decision that West Jerusalem is the capital of Israel. Who is Australia to be telling another nation where its capital is? How insulting! No wonder Hamas has congratulated Australia for the decision. See more

BOOK PRICE SLASHED FROM $29.95 TO $7ea

For October, William Cooper Gentle Warrior, a biography and history, is on sale and you can get 10 or more copies for the amazing price of $5 each – much less than what it costs to produce them. I have some special projects coming up that will make books on William Cooper in high demand so get in while you can. They will make great gifts and are good teaching tools. William Cooper started the first national Aboriginal organisation back in the 1930’s and was the father of NAIDOC (National Aborigines and Islanders Week.) He led his people on one of the few private protests worldwide against Kristallnacht, the start of the Holocaust. His legacy lives on and this book is highly acclaimed.
